  1. That's gonna conclude the event, thank you all the admins who stayed throughout it and the players who patiently waited for slots to open up. Was super fun especially when we had the slots raised. Will be looking to do this again in the future if we can figure out what was causing the technical issues. I have a few clips I might edit and upload later on for the shits & giggles. Hope everyone is having a nice break and happy holidays.
  2. Extremely subjective.
  3. Hey guys sorry for the technical issues, some unforeseen issues that didn't happen last time. Still going on with normal slot size, join- if you have to afk just leave instead. Thanks for the patience.
  4. Event about to start, get in here boys.
  5. Event in 3 hours, just a heads up.
  6. Yes, if people fuck it up and hurt others though it's still considered freeknifing/nading. Here it is from the FAQ.
  7. Probably not that bad. Depends on the admin vs. player turnout.
  8. Answered by @Dominic.
  9. Just for fun. If someones wants to keep score I guess you can but it's just for shits & giggles.
  10. As said in OP, we will absolutely do this atleast once. Should be hilarious.
  11. Mhm. We'll be trying to play the Holiday-winter maps, aswell as probably switching to maps with intense rebelling such as Razor & Lego.
  12. [Jailbreak] Players VS. Admins Event Tomorrow December 28th 5PM EST Originally done a few months back by Caution, the Players vs. Admins event was extremely well liked among the community. We did some silly deathgames, the cha cha slide, and gave away a ton of cool games & prizes! Lets get it going again! Administrators will be CT side, and our regulars will be on the T side! If we get the chance maybe we swap roles and see if our admins can figure out how to rebel together! The server's slot size will be increased to 64! We'll be giving away a few things for players who win games or we'll pull from a raffle! Special thanks to @eXtr3m3, @Nimmy and @sean for help setting this up. Another thank you to all the staff who show up and our regulars for keeping the server fun and alive for so long- you guys are the real MVP's. Hope to see you all there!
  13. SG Casual Server

I think at the moment working with what we have and not spreading our staff even is something we should be making sure is done. Adding any new servers atleast in my opinion, for the next month- is a bad idea. Lets let our servers populations level off, put some work in and gain staff before we start trying to expand any further. Anyway, not saying I'm against Casual as an idea for the future, but I think SG has reached it limits more or less currently.
  14. Warning shot, in rare circumstances where someone is blatantly disobeying by talking a lot you can straight up kill them.
  15. I was speaking for being able to see the IP and carry it over. As for both the other things you got my point. Back in I think June Discord was really unreliable a bunch of their servers went down and it was generally annoying to use. The permissions aren't a big deal, it's just worse than TS.
  16. I don't prefer Discord to TeamSpeak for various reasons technical reasons (IP bans, permissions, reliability) but I do however know that the CS:GO generation of kids we're at right now see TeamSpeak as a clunky dinosaur age software. In the past year or so Discord has got increasingly more popular, and it's not really showing signs of stopping. Among SG lots of little friend groups create their own Discord's as a little friend hub, which to me is most of the time obnoxious, but atleast we know that lots of our community uses it. I think our main target audience for getting a Discord is the kids who have Discord downloaded, but not TeamSpeak. Everytime someone on Jailbreak asks for our VOIP they always ask for Discord- not teamspeak, and many of these times I give them the TeamSpeak IP address they literally ask "why not discord". I could see people saying it would steal players off of TeamSpeak to Discord but in complete honesty from what I've seen on our servers it's hurting our community more by not having it. A bunch of the other major communities have both Discord and TeamSpeak. I support getting a Discord server.
  17. I Got a Frog

  18. This post alone isn't really what you want for the most accurate results for something like this, nor is it the only question you want to ask. Players on the forums tend to lean towards more experience. If you are looking for a better idea on whether it is too hard, or if changes are needed you should expand your view from not only the forums but towards the servers as well, also asking more questions than just this. As has been said in nearly every post in this thread, CT is difficult at times because of your shitty CT teammates- who often are just bad, even some of our regulars who have very little forum exposure. CT for me personally is not difficult, but it does become an impossible task when as is said by others when your teammates aren't the best. The reason why I suggest things like making rules more concrete such as invisible buttons being KOS, and invisible ladders KOS is to equalize that. More than often I see the CT team get to the point where it's much under the allowed ratio, such as 4:14, 6:18, and it makes the server overall much less fun. I notice most of the times this happens is when players leave the server. When these situations arise I usually swap over to CT to help but more than often I'm not going to be on the server to lend a helping hand. A way that I can help is by pushing for rule change that allows people who are familiar with our rules, and decent at the game to enforce things slightly stricter. One of the reasons I personally don't play CT often is because I think the server is balanced in a way where CTs are going to get completely stomped out, which to some degree is fine- to another degree it is not. The reason why on maps like spyvsspy and moonjail you see more CT's is because it is simply easier to play on it, for moonjail it's also a larger map (which contributes to CT count, but also makes the CT side easier). If CTs were given more power I personally believe it would be more fun- this is coming from a person who takes a lot of pride in rebelling in stupid ass ways. While I am NOT suggesting something like removing warning shots, I do suggest we touch up our rules, and make concrete (clear) changes that state that invisible ladders/buttons are secrets (hence KOS). As a prime example of how to equalize that the reason I began discussing invisible buttons is because of a thread posted about it. Lets be more specific, I am speaking about Electric Razor for any PB regulars. My personal belief is that the button inside of isolation gets a lot of dumbass teammates killed, how many times has anyone reading this watched the Isolation door open where their teammate(s) gets shot in the face, players block the door, or people just run free? It happens all the time. How many times does it happen where people use the top of cells to run to showers, pool, to grab a deagle? It also happens all the time. The overwhelming majority of time these are things that are used to rebel, rather than for anything else. To answer the question, for me personally- playing CT is not too hard. For the overwhelming majority that play on Jailbreak, they understand that shitty teammates make playing CT difficult. I would like to change the rules slightly to clearly allow for said things to be enforced, as it both makes more sense than currently and will equalize the problems our server has with a massive imbalance.
  19. and more better guns near spawn pls (aug, m4, ak, nova, p90) and fix my flashlight xd and remove the medshots
  20. I like the old map better tbh, way too much clutter, too many different building types, confusing terrain, bad vehicle spawns consistently. The old map has its issues, but I feel like they went way too far in the other direction with Miramar. The good parts is that the loot is fairly good, the drops in big cities are more fun, tends to be more action, and more cover around the map cause of the terrain. As far as the Miramar specific content the new weapons are pretty awful, and the van feels fucking useless. I feel like the new map is meant to be played in third person sometimes cause of how fucked you can get from so many angles.
  21. I don't see a problem with this though I think it could end disastrously for your teammates if he kills you before you can call KOS.
  22. You're not supposed to use Family and Friends for actual transactions where a good/service is being used. If you do that it's not documented properly and one person can refund as matt stated. I recommend no one does this transaction, it's very sketchy- I also recommend you don't give someone $230 dollars over PayPal if you're underage unless they're actual family. PayPal could end up asking for your ID and when you can't give them one that matches up with the details on your acc they will lock your account with the money on it.
  23. H1Z1 FREE WEEK

    @Nimmy @delirium
  24. DayZ to PUBG

I really enjoyed old ArmA 2 DayZ as the purpose wasn't always to KOS, but I'd say as far as Standalone vs. PUBG it's pretty clear which game is better. Standalone requires you to run around with melee weapon's 85% of the time, PUBG gets back to what is good about old DayZ in the fact that it keeps its pace pretty well besides traveling/looting.
