  1. Doesn't look to be like this on any other server. (just to clarify, speaking about our other servers, not other communities) Anyone but me?
  2. Shadowplay Shadowplay is by far one of the best recording software out there next to it's counterparts such as Plays.tv, OBS, Fraps, Bandicam, XSplit, and Dxtory. It doubles as a streaming software, though I recommend you look into OBS if that's what you're looking for. It's absolutely awesome for creating Player Complaints and I've seen people make lots of posts about problems with it previously- SO HERE WE ARE! Just a side note: It provides great convenience through its instant replay, good quality, and isn't too system intensive such as its counter parts like Fraps & Dxtory. If you have either, I highly recommend you try this or OBS- this especially for Player Complaints and the like. Before you get started check out the requirements below, I'll summarize them below per their website Have. - Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 - 2GB system memory - A decent CPU (Intel Pentium G Series, Core 2 Duo, Quad Core i3, i5, i7) - GTX series 600M series or higher (you cannot have an AMD, if you do see Radeon Relive). Setting up Shadowplay 1. Download NVIDIA GeForce Experience. 2. Install it, then look into your task bar, right click on the logo and click the Open GeForce Experience Button. 3. Find & Click the Shadowplay Button in the Upper right , this should open the Transparent Shadowplay Menu. (Default Hotkey is: Alt+Z) 4. Click Instant Replay or Record, then Customize to Tweak your settings. The menu inside should look like this. (Default Hot Key: Instant Replay: Alt+F10) (Default Hot Key: Recording: Alt+F9) 5. You want to probably test your settings now, but I recommend you tweak your microphone volume and set it to Push-To-Talk so your recordings come out sounds clean & keyboard smashing free. 6. Last step before recording, make sure you save your videos to preferably an external drive or get in the habit of deleting them once they fill up your Main Drive (which is hopefully an SSD). To save space, and still be able to catch Rule Breakers I recommend anywhere between 5-10 minutes of replay length. 7. Go in-game and test your settings! Happy Recording Bros! If you encounter any bugs feel free to hit me up on steam, or check out the GeForce Forums.
  3. Hey so @Caution said this was a decent idea before you all fuck my face inwards. I was thinking since we added those new admin FAQ rules, and being the ones we already have we could extend the notice to include a few summarized rules to avoid work for AO, BD+ and will make more people post higher-quality input from our less forum activity community dudes. Sometimes people's posts get removed and they never make one again due to laziness, ignorance etc.. This change would help a few of the more brain cell filled people who write on app's see the summarized rules in the notice and abide by them.
  4. Summer Event!

The SG evolution. "You guys don't take our input, nazis!" Next day. "Come up with your own ideas!" By the way, I think it's worth being said. I'm definitely on the same page as @Extreme Potatoes with these suggestions.
  5. While I acknowledge the statistics behind your argument the truth is that CT's just aren't used to the map, compare its few days of playtime vs. the month of VIP/Razor and it's night/day. It's trying to use isolated statistics to prove a massive point in my opinion. Not really the maps fault, more of just a people problem with kids trying to control people and making many mistakes. The server has a massive problem where CT's rarely win, I doubt that any of our maps often played have a CT winrate of higher than 40%. I don't really think the map has an over abundance of secrets anyway.
  6. I think through proxy it's kind of silly to have a CA straight-up reject it especially with such a weak reason, it comes off so condescending & disrespectful to everyone on this post who spent the time to look for this & post their opinion in detail. Past that. What is the point in rejecting something like this? If anything this helps shows intent, regulates something small, prevents flaming on the servers. What sets this apart from something like the URL plugin?
  7. Yeah, and if someone wants to break into your house they'll break the lock on your door. Why do we have filters on names if this is the stance SG takes about things like this? Another thing. I'm super confused as to why you straight up Rejected something for AO's and BD's deal with. Where in this list does it say anything about rejecting suggestions for a server you don't manage, in which the idea is legitimate, and allowing barely any rebuttle to your argument?
  8. Justin's issue is completely valid IMO. Giving someone a line to go somewhere that isn't the actual path is incredibly T sided. The T already knows the quickest way to the Race almost every single time. It's like going to NASCAR and every car has to drive a full lap while one car gets to use a shortcut. I'm not gonna speculate as to why Enjoi found a bug- Irregardless it's still a bug. Your solution to Kitti's problem is fine as long as someone doesn't get banned for it.
  9. I think we should remove race. It's quite the hassle to fix all the problems people have with it not to mention all of the problems with it are completely valid concerns. It's really one of the the most underplayed LR's with the exception of when people use it for surf on Undertale. No one is gonna shed a tear for it if it's removed. @Delirium @Caution @Jake @Nimmy
  10. You linked an AM archive with broken links (go here for the actual link). Dug through that thread and found a updated version as far as 2012 with a few additions that seem quite necessary, but if we end up not using this specific plugin I also found this. The only downside to doing this is people deliberately trying to get around the filter as a joke, being reported, then banned. I have a pretty big problem with the way the server's rules are set up in all honesty. On Prison Break the actual community rules aren't on the server and the more specific server ones are inside of that shitty little page list. Even if you manage to get to the last page, there is no command that links to the full page of rules (the one that actually mentions shit like racism, mic-spam.. etc). I think if it's possible we should be opening the server rules page for whatever server on-join, instead of the tiny list of rules. That way people aren't uninformed if they do decide to actually make the effort to read. Here's the general evolution of people banned for racism on SG. 1. Player types or says "nigga" or even worse The N word. 2. Brigade of children scream "No Racism!" "Woahhhh" and "DUDE YOU CANT SAY THAT" in unison in hopes at brownie points for admin instead of being chill & level headed about it. 3. Player either apologizes, or the players on the server have managed to aggro that person into feeling subjugated. 4. Player responds by saying it again, leaving, mass freekilling etc.. 5. Player gets banned. Having witnessed this myself, this is what occurs the majority of the time so a plugin like this could help in the server immensely when dealing with people who don't quite know the server rules & don't need a condescending reminder from our toddler police. Personally I think our racism rule is overblown to shit, if anything in my mind it is more trouble than it's worth, but if we intend to keep the rule & continue to be strict about it- adding supplemental plugins like this to supplement the rules is incredibly helpful.
  11. Blows my mind that Valve doesn't just use BattlEye or EAC after all these years.
  12. Are they caching my voice recordings like Amazon?
  13. Snakes are easily killed with a lawnmower.
  14. @Caution in his habitat
  15. Appreciate it. Thanks brother.
  16. I think this guide misses out on the fun part of PB a lot and takes shit too seriously. I've been meaning to make a quirky video guide for how I play Prison Break, but if I do it's probably going to make a lot of the shit I do obsolete. On a side note: besides SL4DE's reiterating the rules and telling people who likely won't read this thread which way to wipe their ass.. play the server for fun, be spontaneous, don't be a douche.
  17. The layout turns out to be ass as I said, and the other flaws Nuclear & Extreme point out do kinda make it out to be a shitty map. I think we should do a no go on this one.
  18. @Nuclear Onion While I think you're wrong on people not looking for Vanilla as CS:GO TTT is an awesome example of how community/players can make something extremely vanilla fun, I agree with a lot of your other points. The only other thing being that people don't need to pay $30, you can buy Garry's Mod and tack on the CS:S models afterwards at no money at all. I would be more than happy to not only run a giveaway, but to make a step by-step tutorial for our CS:GO pals to get the materials/models over to Garry's Mod without having their pockets raped. I'm willing to try it out though, I think that's a solid idea actually. I can only speak for myself when I tell you I'll give it a few weeks of hard effort/daily activity and run a giveway as I did with Rust. I believe we have many other community members both old and new (besides myself) who would immensely help jump this thing into a fully functioning server.
  19. I don't think Four thought we should replace Razor with this, just thought that should be said. This looks like it could be fun by itself, though the screenshots make it look like the layout might be iffy. I'll go load it up later and take a look.
  20. Streamer like Summit1g, LIRIK, or Sodapoppin.
  21. One thing at a time.
  22. @Nimmy fix Takitos favorite LR or demote.
