If you died in all likelihood you were shot before and died for not following orders, because as wickeD posted above warning shots are anything 1-99. Even an AWP shot that did 85 still leaves you room for 15 HP that you shouldn't have lost/lose. Other servers don't even have warning shots for the most part, we do to prevent people from being nazi assholes.

I'm actually a bit dumbfounded that you're really asking this question. Of course not, do not go off of players hearsay to ban somebody. That's ridiculous. Pretty sure it specifically states in the admin rules you should only be punishing for what you see.

Someone somewhere loves you and appreciates you, people tend to lose sight of that because people tend to be self centered and awful. The amount of grief that people endure when someone close commits suicide is extremely overwhelming. Suicide is never a valid option and I hope none of you are ever in the situation where you consider it. I know us people at SG can seem harsh sometimes but we're all genuinely a community, some of you guys feel like my family- I love you fucks no matter what. I like threads like these cause it's a good reminder that we should all be in this shit for the common good and not kick eachother when we're down. Being nice to someone even in the smallest degree can truly save lives, you have no idea what someone is going through on the other end of that screen. Think about that. next time you run into some intolerable little shit on Prison Break or find someone who's easy to make fun of or laugh at. You can really make a large impact both negatively and positively with your intentions and actions. Sorry to hear about your loss PM, the way you're handling it is honorable as fuck. 3 days is too little, 30 days is over the top. I assume the intention of banning people is to stop them from being dipshits, and to hopefully let them come back & play . What it really comes down to is, how long do we think it takes for someone with Malicious intent to realize they fucked up? Honestly, looking at it that way 30 days doesn't sound crazy but there is more to it than just that- even if they can appeal it & explain. I brought this same topic up in the community meeting weeks ago along with a discussion about how slaying, kicking, then banning mass freekillers for 3 days is a terrible waste of time for everyone involved. It's likely the guy comes back and does it again at that point, he's wasted a lot of the admins/players time and it forces an admin to follow protocol so they just end up waiting for 20+ minutes for the guy to start up freekilling again. I wanted to see them catch a week ban if they were clearly just trying to grief & didn't just misunderstand the gamemode- misunderstanding the game mode is understandable. I find it absolutely ridiculous someone can fuck with a good 30 minutes of 20+ players lives and get a few days of ban time for it. The problem with allowing admins to ban for a week or even a month for something like that is that atleast one is more than likely to hand out bans that didn't necessarily deserve a week ban or more. Possibly looking into allowing mass freekillers who are in player complaints bans to have higher bans, and admins making increase requests who have it on record is a good way to put things in the hands of people who are likely to make better decisions IMO. Personally, the contributing reason why I've begun to vote strict as fuck on admin applications is because we really are suffering when we can't make changes like this to circumvent rule breakers due to the fear of admins fucking up. Seeing the sheer amount of griefers and mass freekillers/rdmers who join PB/TTT on a daily basis, even if this doesn't go through something should change because it's simply ruining people's time on our servers.

Teamkilling is not allowed whatsoever, so definitely report them if they're killing teammates with it. As for editing the map I feel like that would be a lot of work when you could do the same with things like Colors, Roulette, Death crate on every other map. Decompiled Summer Jail, comes out with a lot of errors that would straight up break parts of the map. Not worth the effort to change one button. Sorry.

I find it incredibly hard to believe that a loosely known guideline set for SA+ to follow is being cited by people when they RDM and Leave.
