We should really make an addition specifically stating that abuse of off-mic is not allowed- somewhat similar to how special orders was treated. The ambiguity between some of the things said on the forums in the past, the faq, and the rules is extremely frustrating.

We never really got along but I mean it sincerely when I say I hope your shit works itself out and I hope you get in a good place mentally. I see enough to know that people here really care about you and I hope you come back around to play, when I first came back to CS:GO TTT you were one of my favorite players. Cya around.

Just food for thought before I pass out for a few hours because I see both points here. Does our TTT playerbase need/want competitiveness or rule enforcement more? Our current system is far more about being competitive and doesn't do much for preventing RDM. The system we had on Gmod TTT was far more for RDM prevention but always gave you incentive to play well (punch o meter, damage on guns) and disincentive in damage reductions and being banned/kicked for short periods. It seemed like that system always managed to give people just enough room to screw around without getting banned and it was honestly helpful. CS:GO has such a different dynamic and playerbase that maybe keeping week+ resets is best for keeping players happy.

I haven't even played the map but unless the new one is beyond a reasonable doubt better than the old and surpasses the nostalgia a lot of us old fags have from the old version it's in the best interest to keep both. With that being said. Thanks frosty for finishing up the project and goat for all the work he did.

I still think Karma has made people play way too competitively and has completely lost its original purpose it first had in Garry's Mod. Should get reset every map.

This plugin is good for all the simple shit and makes for a less awkward last 30 seconds of the round, and gives people a chance to do their LRs. I will say on a side note that people DO NOT have to use the plugin. If you don't like it do the Custom LR's the way you always have, personally I think in the vast majority of situations this makes things easier and more entertaining. Personally, if I was the Last CT with multiple Ts I would never select an LR through this plugin as it pretty much means certain death for you as the Prisoners will run off to get guns or follow you around until you're able to be knifed. A lot of servers mitigate this by letting the last CT murder everyone except the last person but obviously that isn't the set of rules that SG works with currently. Nimmy has made it so that you no longer are forced to play the LR and are given a prompt when the T selects you, this for the most part mitigates the damage as it gives you the chance to not do a plugin-based LR. He has also made it so when your LR is over the CT is given his weapons back, which again mitigates a lot of the issues we were having the last go around. Anyway, @Nimmy, @Delirium and I have brainstormed & worked on this plugin with your guys feedback in mind to get it the way you guys want so try to go easy. If there is found to be overwhelming exploits & problems I'm sure it will get removed or fixed again, so if you find any be sure to report them here.

Big difference. TTT & Role Assignment are required- without it the server wouldn't have any players. Prison Break & a CT system do not go hand in hand. Our server maintains a 28/28 player population everyday with the current state of the server and ironically the reason for adding this isn't that the server needs to stay vanilla, it's to prevent the server population from declining. Comparing any of those to Prison Break is a massive over exaggeration.

No, but nothing is going to happen if they do because they could justify it 20 different ways and no one will enforce it because they don't read. Here's how it is defined in the FAQ, though it's really terribly worded & your answer is still yes & no. People are gonna force you off mic and use you not allowing them to give new orders as an excuse, so your answer is still yes in that aspect. Until we go back through the FAQ and word shit to make legitimate sense the server is gonna have little loopholes like this.
