  1. @LampShade @FLuiD Anything happening with this?
  2. @Prez @Caution @Liam Brown @Black Rain @Wawa @delirium We talked about this at the CA meeting and it might be worth doing (Making a new section and moving all the rules from each server section to this section instead) Any input from you guys?
  3. @Prez Any idea of what you want to do with this?
  4. The radio operates separate from us; they're their own entity. Most of the time if there's no DJ active, the music being played is a predetermined playlist that they have and update. We have no control over what they play or when they go live with DJs.
  5. ?

@Korean Ninja see you next week dawg
  6. @Black Rain Kbbq / Bdubs when? Grats my frendo C:
  7. @Creten I tested it, the bayonet glitch is still bugged. Probably gonna have to keep an eye out for that. M9s still 1 shot on TTT even with the plugin knife version.
  8. 16 ily leon
  9. 1. TBH I hate you @Dominic for this question LMAO. Who gives a fuck how you put the jelly on peanut butter. I just toss that shit on and eat it. It makes absolutely no difference to anything, but I also just don't eat PB&J anymore (allergic to peanut butter sadly, and jelly sucks nuts) 2. Thought about the discussion again, I lift up half my ass to wipe, half sit half stand confirmed. @WavY I thought we were boys, zip up hoodies are my thing.
  10. I listen to music to hype myself up for whatever I need to do. It generally depends on the mood I'm trying to get myself into. Back when I was on my handball team, I'd listen to anime comeback themes right before my match. It gets me pumped up, and the cliche of aligning the music with beating whatever obstacle stands in front of the MC has worked for me pretty well too. Weeb or not, listening to something like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rnjwd16vpPs (You say run) really gets me into doing whatever I have to do. We made semis my senior year on a hinge 2-2 decider match where I won 21-18 cause this basically LMAO.
  11. Favorite car?

R34 is a personal favorite too tbh. I'm thinking about making one as a project car since they're not importable to the U.S. The Rx7 FD is another car I like a lot. Atm I'm thinking about saving for either a WRX STI or a 2018 Civic Type R...
  12. @Rye Those days are over my friend. I am nothing but a potato now. :^(
  13. In regards to the heavy armor suggestion: by the time anybody has 4 credits in a TTT round, traitor or detective, the round will effectively be close to an end. Heavy Armor in csgo was a cool concept but it was never practical since it drastically slows down the user's movement speed. Along with that, it was limited to no rifles, only heavies and SMGs. It might be a nice one off to just give an event where T's are heavy armored with a movement speed buff, but I can't see it being a practical implement.
  14. I don't think this is "the" solution to csgo TTT returning towards it's original gameplay, but I do think it's a good start. Pros: -Loss of aim-punch gives innocents a little more of a chance when a T takes a one v one, making it even more important for the T to decide when to pull the trigger. -No head-armor innocents doesn't nerf any of the weapons extremely since there wouldn't be the annoying dink that prevents 1 shotting in the head. -As referenced, more incentive to buy other items from the shop rather than immediately using the first credit on kevlar. In csgo, Kevlar is a game changer no matter the skill level. It's a massive advantage that would be ludicrous to forego tbh. -Not a massive shift in balance since T's still have the ability to 1 shot people in the head, advantage of knowledge (being able to take the first shot), and now the perk of being able to use other helpful items over kevlar. Cons: -A big downside in my head (more towards community reaction rather than game play) is that it shifts the focus towards headshots. Perhaps the biggest complaint on our servers is hit reg. Honestly, 99% of the time I don't find it bad at all. I'm blessed with extremely good ping though, and a high spec computer that already runs csgo optimally. Even then, there are certain times where I think to myself "there's no way I didn't hit that." My style is body spraying though. I don't go for fancy headshot flicks, I body spray and transfer which our "bad hitreg" generally favors more. This shift of armor availability would make it more beneficial to aim for headshots, which could bring about more frustration when the game "fails to reg" the shot. Honestly though, this isn't necessarily a huge con since referring back to a pro, it would shift the game style more towards a logical approach to killing instead of just taking fights instantly. -Delaying. T's may be more inclined to delay since the innocents have a even better chance at surviving now than before. Teamwork and cohesion in terms of riddling down the numbers contributes towards the win, and if a T finds himself in a 1v5+ and isn't a great, mechanically skilled player, he may be even more scared to take fights. Of course delaying against the rules, but the psychology behind players isn't something so easily changed. Everyone wants to win, and some players just may struggle with this gained advantage. Overall though, I'm for trying this option out. I think it would be interesting to see how this element could shift our game mode.
  15. no game no life would be pretty sick, but I'd probably become a worthless human being by losing immediately. Probably one of the gundam universes if not NGNL.
  16. Eh, just to address what I said previously: I was wrong. The smoke glitch in csgo isn't nearly as bad as what happens on the server. I don't know what's causing it but we can instantly see through smokes on radar on our server. In csgo matches (whether cevo, esea, or MM) it's not nearly as consistent in terms of being able to see through it on radar while its up; it's usually only when the smoke fades. On our scrim server I can literally stare at my radar through a smoke and see someone walking back and forth. Tagging @LampShade so maybe he can share some insight on it within the plugin.
  17. Accounting Major, dunno what I'm going to do with it yet though. Just going through the ever growing phase of realizing how behind I'm falling and how all the doors of opportunities are swinging closed as I sit on my ass. :^)...
  18. @tides Can't even 1v3 awp retake though
  19. Returning to CA I c yallll @Dominic and @Reece @Poobah @Reid99 @Roux @SilentGuns Congrats!!!! @Brando wtf Congrats to everyone tho :^) well deserved
  20. TIL you're also a third year in college like me. I can imagine the work you're facing in college so good luck and I hope for the best to you! I don't have a long winded memory with you but I've certainly enjoyed seeing you around and having our brief interactions and laughs. I certainly didn't see this coming, but I'll always appreciate everything you've done. (S/o to the surf server) Thanks for all the work you've put in, and one day I believe i'll hear your voice :^). Once more, goodluck with your studies and your future. I can feel the imminent adulting hitting me as well.
  21. MG Suggestions

Some things I noticed from being on the server time to time: A lot of the random people who join want to vote for course / prophunt (assumably cause they don't know what it's like). Ridding ourselves of the cluster votes or removing these options would help a lot since they are generally population killers. Course is fun for a max of 10 mins. Once people beat the course, or think they can't do it, it creates a riff between them and those who are still doing it / want to do it. Havent experienced prophunt outside of an event yet so I have no comment, but the gameplay itself feels like it'd be stale if it's not a bunch of friends laughing/messing with each other. Autohop is becoming less popular already. I've seen a lot of people complain about it but the vote usually swings one way (particularly cause the general tendency to just spam 1 anyways during votes). I sometimes forget and hit 1 too. There are a few maps that benefit from autohop, but a lot of maps become rather annoying to play (goldeneye being the easiest to recall off the top of my head) with autohop. It'd be cool if we could just enable it for certain maps (like maybe bhop battles or velocity tower). Another compromise could be slightly higher air accel implemented. I remember some people complaining about it prior to autohop implemention. Doesn't JB have some way of connecting !rank to the gameme stats? Something like that would be nice for MG. Currently the only ingame "rank" is !couples which requires you to first establish your placement with another player and requires someone to inform you of it. I might be blind, but I don't recall ever seeing it mentioned in the random popup messages. I personally love MG. I joined this community through TTT but in my 1.6 child days it was MG, surf, and assassination. Whenever I see the server populate past 6 people, I try to hop on and I hope to populate it. We get random upswings here and there, but there's no consistent population still. I can probably count the MG regs with my fingers. LF> TeamMG to be a thing.
  22. Fire aura and ice trail cus i'm lowkey todoroki. I'm also throwing bananas now ;). I'm outta credits already (39k for those three). I have like 19k left lul.
  23. @Gator Wondering if you can word it as "The AWP is KOS unless the person who picks it up announces that he picked it up from a T" "The M4A1-S is not KOS as it is commonly dropped by detectives in favor of other weapons, however it is still suspicious if they do not announce picking it up." Atm with "The Awp is not KOS" and with "The m4a1-s is also not KOS" it kinda sounds at first glance as if by default the awp is not KOS even though the rest of your sentence counters it. I think it'd just be a little cleaner in explanation to have both normal situations be stated first with their exceptions following it.
  24. Get back to 168 lbs. Back in HS I was the fittest around 165-168 lbs and now I'm a solid 185 of uneven blobbyness. Getting fit again is probably my biggest priority
  25. I thought the new map would be a fresh breather, but atm I prefer the old map. I think it's particularly the desolateness of it that makes me dislike it. I do like the fact that the buildings in the new map are really hard to camp in. I really like the new UI implemented, and the fps in game is great. If they translate it over to the real server, I'd be thrilled to play again. Vaulting: Love it, it's not cheese enough to be OP (like jumping out the window) since it breaks the glass and makes noises. It's definitely a huge step up for me because it just creates more opportunities in building scenarios. Vehicles: The sound reductions my favorite part of it. I also like the fact that they added little details too (shifting gears noise while driving). Optimization: I haven't noticed it looking visibly worse but I don't even know what my settings are on the test server. The only thing I noticed was my FPS being a lot more stable and higher. I did get a bit of a headache from playing, but I could attribute that to many other things (life stress atm and perhaps the strain from staring at a computer screen for an insane amount of time). Overall, I'm excited for the overhaul. I really like the new UI at launch. The ready button, the team settings, and the gamemode selection is clean. The ingame UI is cleaner too, though the new position for kill feed is kinda strange for me. While it's more akin to csgo now, I'm used to looking at the normal position. Maybe it'll be more comfortable for me as I play.
