I mostly offer to slay myself, unless the person I killed was rdming another person. It really depends on what the other person wants too. Some people are super butt tight about it and demand the "rdmer" to slay while others don't. I usually let it go if I know it's an accident. This is with an admin on or off. As for the asking the admin to slay thing, they'll ask you about the scenario and just answer them honestly, whatever they determine will be on their end.

Who's gonna tell me i'm shit at this game and encourage me to cap karma now... I didn't play that often with you but it was certainly a pleasure each time. Really will miss having you pop in time to time. From the first time I met you to the few times that I talked with you I always got off the vibe of a laid back attitude with the ability to take action. Sure enough, every time we played on TTT together you handled the rulebreakers well and made the game quite fun. Hopefully you do swing by time to time, I'll never really know how much work you put into SG, but regardless I'll appreciate every bit of it. Good luck with whatever lies ahead for you.

Servers were suppose to cease with such plugins because valve ordered it. Some servers have it but it's not technically allowed for community servers.

The rank range in SG would make a tournament extremely unfair. Especially if the teams are premade... The event Rain did was a scrim get together which just had an Admin Vs Member format with balanced out teams. Scrim's not meant to be populated all day, it's just when people want to get together and scrim. I try to start one pretty often and I know others that usually do. Another event would be fun but I don't agree with a tournament for it.

It's harsh in the beginning. The best way to do it is to build a cushion so you don't just fall into a trap. Once you're somewhere above 3k karma it'll be pretty insignificant. It's not too hard to maintain karma after that. It does definitely change the way TTT feels but it's not really terrible as long as you cushion yourself. It really punishes new, instant rdmers since they drop low and can't climb out.

I wasn't gonna comment but fuck it. Scrim's aren't suppose to have any merit. Scrim's intentions date back to 1.6 where teams practiced with each other. Thats what a scrim is, just practice. To put some form of merit into the server defeats scrims as a whole. It'd also just form more unfair teams. Etc: I'll just start doing setups and taking lets say 'EmJuly.' I'm pretty sure in almost all cases no one on the other team will be happy with that. On a side note though, im curious to why raffle isn't included to our scrim servers though since it is a server. @Black Rain

Do we need an admin to switch the maps or is there a way for anyone to choose?

Been thinking about it for a while since it seems like a lot of people dislike aim_p2000. I found that for scrim warming up on pistol really doesn't help as much as an ak/m4 map would. Of course that's a personal opinion but I was wondering if it would be possible to change it. The two maps that come to my mind would be either aim_redline or aim_map but any ak/m4 combo map would be great.

Here's the mess of a story that my brain had created a few days ago. I decided to try writing up this concept at 3 AM instead of studying/sleeping/doing anything more productive so hopefully it somewhat flows alright...

@euro beating me to the punch. There's plenty of people who can't land the first shot, which would make this gun pretty hard to use. If you have the time to guarantee a shot, guarantee a headshot then which is already a 1 shot kill. I like the idea of implementing some sort of weapon for the detective to gain an edge back against the Ts but I can't see this being useful. If it costs 2 credits to buy it, even if you killed a T you wouldn't have made back that credit. Also, if an innocent walked into the line of fire and he got hit you'd die for an accident that just happens time to time. I don't think it'd be used much in the end...

From the few scrims we've done, I like it a lot. I use to take control of apps a lot when I played T side inferno and occasionally dark would get me. The new apps looks and plays nicer since you don't have to commit to clearing dark or waste a molly to clear it. Also loving the wideness of banana.
