Even though Jailbreak is trying to cater towards non-mic players. I agree that if someone were to get FO then they should be using voice chat, not text chat. Reasons why: -chat orders with FO usually cause a lot of confusion when there are more than 15+ players -a player giving an order using voice chat just feels better to others than someone giving an order in text chat because it would seem like the player is more involved in the game (usually)

I'm one of those admins to blame here, i should have familiarized myself with the rules more before actually playing on the server and im sorry for not and noticing too late. On the topic spawn camping i believe that it should be kept due to the fact that as you've seen on the server, it can just make it one sided where one team just constantly kills the other team. Another problem is that players who do spawn camp make it so that everyone just sits at spawn and dont actually explore or play on the map. Also spawn camping kind of ties in with point farming, someone on the opposing team could go afk and you can just go to their spawn and kill them constantly. Lastly with everyone not following the rules, it's still a new server and all the players on the server currently are mostly people in the community who probably never played Surf deathmatch before.

My current view on this is to make the pistol rule apply to primaries as well, since a pistol can also completely destroy a whole team of CT similar to an AK47 depending on the users skill level. Also CTs should be more aware of who has a gun and who doesn't and should try to position themselves or give orders in way to where it’s easier to identify the the T with the a primary, similar to how most CTs do with secondaries.

Having a primary means that you are KOS, him saying that he will allow you to live is a pardon and the rules state: • CTs do not have to honor pardons or promises to rebelling Ts. If the person has a secondary, steps out and no CT saw the guy shooting or holding the gun out for a long period of time then he can't be killed, since they don't know whether or not he got passed the secondary from another T that was shooting or holding out the gun

Models: weren't too bad but didn't stand out JB electric map: The subtle change in the map makes it so much better than the original in my opinion, since the light isn't as bright and in your face as the other electric maps and the one way change to a regular opened window, I liked a lot because it made it so I didn't have to blow my eyes out just trying to find if a CT is in the one way. RTD: Idk

If they keep on doing it grab evidence (preferably a video) of them constantly doing it and you warning them to stop and make a player complaint or just call an admin on and they should handle it

this is pretty much covered with the rule: • CTs must be actively enforcing orders or assisting their team. (subject to admin discretion) It's sometimes fine to camp as you can be stuck in armory because Ts are just trying to rush into armory with guns. But with the whole situation that you have it's not allowed as the CT isnt actively enforcing orders or assisting their team

How many times do people have to make a CT requirement thread? Then get rejected and realize that it’s not a good way of going about restricting players and teaching players how to play CT and that the CT restriction isn't to stop those who don't know how to play but those who just want to freekill people. Having new players on CT is a great way to have the player learn about the gamemode if they really want to, as players will call out on their mistakes or tell them what they did wrong. Most of these rule discussions are covered in a way to where it's mostly up to general admin/player discretion rather than having a straight up rule on what to do. This so that players dont have to be restricted to certain things and have to do things in a certain way and can be creative and make things more fun. SPOILER ALERT: That's not how that works, some websites have amazing designs but don't have people just constantly flooding in just to see the forum design

@Dom what Trazz put doesnt just apply to the CT playing in the LR • A CT is not allowed to cheat or delay during an LR So if another CT who wasnt in the LR shoots a T who is in an LR then it would be considered cheating since the CT outside the LR is trying to help or give the CT in the LR an advantage over the T • CTs cannot obstruct a T's ability to follow the orders. Subject to admin discretion. Since it is up to admin's discretion, I would personally consider a CT outside an LR, either shooting at or blocking a T in an LR, as obstructing a T's ability to follow an order since an LR to me is considered an order that is always active unless it's under certain circumstances.

If the CT said a clear and direct order i don't see why they would have to always repeat it if someone requests it. If a CT is giving a confusing order tell them that they are going too fast or making the orders too confusing. If they keep on giving confusing orders or talking too fast to where you cant tell what they are saying and you've warned them multiple times then you can just report them on the forums or get an admin on to deal with the player.
