I brought it up back then but it didn’t really get any traction. As for the plugin I personally think that we should copy how another community does it. Where if you’re muted and you try to use your mic a console message pops up at the middle bottom of the screen that says that you are muted This is useful because it tells newer/active players that they are muted and the other players can’t hear them. It’s one of the worst feelings in the world to just talk about something, only to find out that you were muted all this time from an admin or from the server.

I agree that racism and racial slurs are bad. But I do not think that players should be restrained from using them here and there in casual conversation, as some people integrated some of these words into their list of vocabulary words that they use everyday. It has come to the point where part of society has accepted these words as essentially regular “curse words”, as opposed to actually discriminating someone. Some popular books that schools use have racial slurs in them and most commonly you see racial slurs in a lot of music in this day and age. These words now don’t have the same type of weight as they had before since more people accept it and a lot of people use it in a different way, even though some of these words have a very long history behind them. Also as far as the “Admin Discretion” goes I think that admins(including me) are a bit too lenient with it and should try to be more strict with it, since there have been times where players have overstepped their boundaries multiple times and didn’t get punished for it and for that I’m sorry and I should have personally done a better job at handling the situation.

Yes, you can just look around for others opinion but most people wouldn't really give you a straight/well thought out opinion of you. An admin app makes it so more people know that you want/still want the admin role and would look out for you to see what you can improve on or what you do good with. Also admin apps can reach out to a broader audience as opposed to the servers where you ask the question to the server and one or two people answer or go on your friends list to ask and you would also get one or two responses.

I disagree completely with this idea of bringing back 100 posts because it just discourages players from wanting to become admin or staying or even worse restricts a potentially great admin from becoming admin because the person doesn't like to post on the forums or takes too long for him or her to get 100 posts since they solely focus on server work. With a 10 post limit for applications the applicant can see what they need to improve on and what they do well through the application voting process. Also all of the applications get reviewed by the higher ups and many people trust the higher ups to make that judgement in whether or not someone should become admin or not.

The only way I see this being added and it being pretty cool is to add it to MG and make it to where it has a 1-5 percent chance of hearing a random sound effect when someone headshots another person. It would be a pretty cool Easter egg to find but overall as people said in this post I don’t see a need in having it and I can see that it can be annoying when every time someone dies a sound effect would pop up

this is an old map and it was removed because there weren't many unique secrets and the map layout was bad. Also many CTs would just give the same orders every round to go to ice hockey Even though there were updates to the map they weren't really any major updates to the map the only updates were textures and a few minor death game changes. I would say yes this is a problem when it comes to LRs. But it’s just gonna open up a new can of worms if they add a rule where the T can give LR rules after Lr is accepted cause your gonna have to specify when you can’t make a new rule. For example 6 shots into the shot for shot LR the T says that he wants a new rule that you can only move left and right but the CT didn’t want to play shot for shot only moving left and right only, the CT wanted to play regular shot for shot and now he can’t cancel the LR since he already accepted it. I would say leave it how it is and have the CT determine wether or not they want to follow the rules that were told after he accepted the LR Also I agree with @Tweedledee in that we should focus on a more general set of rules for each LR rather then making it to where the T decides everything that happens in the LR which could potentially sway the way of how LRs go substantially to T side

I would say for the most part you wouldn’t get banned for it since it doesn’t really give you an advantage when you use it to scroll through items. Also most admins just look to see wether or not you use it for bhopping rather then using it to switch weapons. But as for the rules on the servers it doesn’t say specifically that you can use it for switching items it just says that your not allowed to use a hyperscroll.

For the most part you wont get banned for having a group. But there are certain things that you cant have. I would compare this to freedom of speech you have the right to talk, but there are things that you cant just say or scream out loud in public. It's mostly a case to case bases though

No even though the round is over the game is still played normally. A similar scenario would be CTs not being able to spray down Ts after the round is over, once a round timer ends it doesn’t mean that there aren’t any rules to the server anymore for freekilling

they can just make it to where you can only take it twice in a row similar to what they did with the !fo command. rather then having a extra rule for it

For the list for favorite servers it would probably be updated when the new forums comes out, unless it is easily changeable in the current version of the forums I think that they should just leave it at 3 server limit cause it gives a more accurate estimate in what your favorite servers are.

what phoenix wrote and what you wrote are two different things, his is an actual order for a freeday while yours is just that they are GOING to give a order to have a freeday and have not actually given the order to have a freeday yet.

It is still against the rules due to the fact that you are still giving a freeday order while first order is active. As it says in the rules "CTs cannot give freedays while !fo is active" But maybe the rules can be reworded from: to something like: This way it's more clear to players that you can't give any orders for a freeday even when a player says "All Ts freeze, once !fo ends have a freeday"

This is why we have the changelog posts for anything that gets updated on the servers, such as rules. Also we have the rule discussion section if people want to talk about any rules they want to be added changed or removed for the people who aren't up to date with the rules because they only read the rules on the servers, that all lies on the AO+ to do their job in updating them.

I don't really see a point in this event, if someone were to really appreciate an admin's work they could just message the admin or tell the admin that they are doing a good job and etc

This is probably the worst event i have ever did. it was good on paper but terrible in practice. I could see a future event similar to this that would work though but right now with the state of how jb is, which everyone wants to just play regular jb, its not gonna work because it takes too much of the core gameplay away from jb. This is just my thought process after we tried to run this event.

It was a fun 3 game series with diryathing's team coming out on top even though @Ned left them and i had to sub in. congrats to @diryathing @Kicks @nV and @Senpai for winning =) and thank you everyone who participated in this event

I actually brought this up to the jb team and we said we would think about it but I don’t think they got around to actually talk about it much. I personally think that we should have a rule in place to where CTs can’t give free days over text chat as it always causes chaos and the order usually Revokes all the other orders put in place by the CTs in voice chat
