Charizard is one of the few applicants that has ever had that happened to them. This is a very rare case, most of the time applicants are required to branch out even if they don't want to, and most of the time people avoid applying because of this. Have the people that maintain the server hand out powers? I don't believe it is as difficult as you say it is, maybe I'm wrong but even if so we have a load of AOs and I'm sure they wouldn't mind helping out. All you would have to do is set up people in different calladmin logs on discord, it isn't as difficult as you're making it out to be, and we'd be getting more people willing to apply if we seperated the powers, wouldn't we? If someone that is admining JB and wants to get TTT admin, then they would simply apply, it just doesn't make sense that the current system allows someone who plays and admins ZE to also have powers in servers that they don't even play. Senior admins and CAs would apply like they normally do? If someone wants to help out the community as a CA of JB and handle JB player complaints then this system would allow it to do so without so much need from the community.

You are absolutely correct, players are given admin because of what you just said, but someone that applies for admin that mostly plays ttt shouldn't have access to admin on ze of jb, and I never mentioned "bypassing rules/requirements", I do believe 100 posts is a bit too much, but that is another issue. If we're giving specific roles to people who want to be apart of the media team, but don't want to be admin, why should we not give those specific powers to someone who only wants to become an admin on a specific server, that doesn't make sense to me. Why should someone that is only interested in becoming apart of the ttt adminstration team also have powers on all the other servers. It's sorta like how the higher ups came up with 5 different teams to be apart of that don't require you to be an admin, why are we giving specific roles in one aspect of the forums but not the other?

Someone that doesn't have powers wouldn't be considered an admin on the server, they would be considered a regular. Calladmins would ideally have different sections, such as "JB CALLADMIN" "TTT CALLADMIN" etc and they would go into the proper discord channel.

I made a post on the thread named "how to make jailbreak better" https://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=80074&page=2 and one of my ideas was to have server specific admins. As of now, if you apply for admin and get accepted you are given admin powers to all of SG's servers. With this suggestion I would like to see server specific applications. What I mean by this is that you would send an application for a specific server, and not all of SG's servers. So if you really like jailbreak, and are interested in admining jailbreak you would send a specific application for jailbreak. If you like ttt and jb, and believe the regulars have put a lot of trust in you to enforce the proper rules,you would send an application to both servers. This would help applicants that aren't interested in playing other servers, I've seen it happen a lot where people would get reapplied or abstained because they mainly play one server and have no interest in other servers. I remember when this happened with a lot of ze applicants and that ttt/jb mains would write 1 sentence posts stating the obvious "haven't seen you before on ___, abstain". This would also stop admins that come on a server that they know very little about and spreading false rules/misusing powers. I'm sure many ttt/jb admins have come on ze before and perma-muted a guy on accident.

I probably should’ve mentioned that (hypothetically) having applications for specific servers means that you could apply for ttt if you already had admin powers on JB. It makes sense because you would have to gain the trust of the respective regulars of the server you played that you wanted to be admin on. @Cept For Her Anyways, this thread is about making jb a better server, and I don’t want to stray off that topic. I’d like to hear from the higher ups about what is gonna happen regarding jb with these posts, and I’ll make another thread regarding the whole rank structure of lower admins. @Wawa @delirium

You’re right, having a traditional warden system means one person would be getting all the “attention”. But I think it’s better to have one little lad screaming into their mic trying to get out orders out as opposed to many little lads screaming into their trying to get orders out. Didn’t even know this was a thread, but as someone who has spent too much time playing jailbreak, I’ll try and give some perspective of what I believe is killing JB. 1) The player base, as of now it is mostly filled with little kids, now this is not exactly a bad thing since having a little kid population is definitely better than no population, but when people that are older and come into the server to get screamed at by little kids, they are bound to leave. Which means that it’s just a snowball of little kids joining and older guys leaving or losing interest. 2) The quality of the CTs have definitely dropped. When I first joined at least half of the CT team had a mic and were able to give decent orders, now maybe only 1 or 2 CTs have a mic. Or everyone has a mic on CT but they’re too busy conflicting over each other, which brings me to my next point. 3) Conflicting and cancer. I don’t know why this server is so against having a warden system that allows someone to be the “main head” and direct the T’s and give them orders, I mean more often then not CTs will be constantly conflicting over one another if they have a mic and make people want to tear their ears off and leave. 4) Lack of admin presence, this is a no brainer, there are very few active JB admins, it feels like the higher ups have practically given up on JB. 5) The orders given . I made a thread a while ago about having special days like war day or purge day to spice things up, which ultimately got struck down for little to no reason. As of now, the orders are always “go to soccer be in the goal”, “go to pool be in water”, or the classic “free day no past first cell”. It’s quite tiring to hear the same shit every round, and it causes people to lose interest in the server. In the end it all goes back to what bubblez said, the few regs on there are tryhards and there’s never anything interesting going on unless there are “hyped up regs”. I remember when I first joined, bubblez would find me in some secret or something, and he’d say something along the lines of “hey watcha doing there fat boy”, there are very few CTs that like to fuck around with the T’s and instead only play to stack their k/d. Solutions: Have special events to get forum regs to start playing jb again, such as the admin vs regs thing, the juggernaut event, or giveaways for shop items if the server is filled, in hopes of getting randoms to become regs. Have role model CTs give interesting orders, if we build up a decent player base, add restrictions as to who can become a CT. Add a warden system. Allow wardays to be a thing. Loosen up the restrictions of applying for admin, maybe we could make it so people don’t need 100 posts, and decrease the amount of supports required to become admin, have it so you can apply for a specific server, such as if you want to admin JB, you’d have to filled out an application to admin just JB, but you wouldn’t be able to admin TTT or ZE with a JB application. Loosen up the amount of time admins are allowed to ban people for, on other communities they give 30 minute time outs and from there it is escalated. They only ban people if they have to, admins try and keep players on and the population active. People shouldn’t be permed after being banned for 3 Times, an example of this is Tacoftw. He was a good regular that got permed from bans of about a year ago. Even tho I didn’t like the kid personally, he was an active regular on the forums and the server, he was another person that liked playing on the server. We shouldn’t be perming people like this. We shouldn’t be giving people less motivation to go on the servers and try and populate the servers. Maybe this post might be better coming from someone else other than myself who has had a lot of drama surrounding me. But this is really just to try and help JB. I’ve spent a lot of time playing on other successful communities and I want to be able to replicate that same success over here, I’ve noticed a lot of things that we are doing and aren’t doing that drive players away from our JB server and, like I said, I’m just tryna help. What was your first job? How and when did you get it? What was the pay like? This does not include being an intern or going to a school. My first job was busboying at an italian restaurant when I was 15, I live in florida so the job was only seasonal because the majority of the customer base were old farts and don't like sticking around during summer, and the person that I worked with was a really fucking fast mexican that was much faster then me at doing my job, I mean the dude was like fucking sonic, which means I was laid off. I had the job for about 2 months and I walked home with 50 bucks in tips, and 30 dollars on my paycheck for each day. Now that I think of it, it was a real good job for a teenager and I honestly wish I had it back. I got the job by walking in with one of my friends, sadly they would never put us to work on the same day because we fucked around too much.

Map ultimately depops and is just a bad ttt map, it’s a fun map once and a while but should be removed from the nomination list. Would like to see it kept on the admin menu tho, for those spooky Halloween times.

Do you want to see one removed, if so why?: Not really, unless something is drastically changed in our rules, then I don’t think we should remove either one. They populate the server and fit our server’s play style, which is rebelling or die trying. If you could see fixes to the newer revamp or the older map what would it be? The teleporter on original razor unlocks at 3:30, before 3:30 it won’t do anything, and I believe if big cage vents are open, then the vending machine will teleport you to the vents, if it isn’t then it’ll teleport you to kitchen/disco. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah but what you are referring to is when CTs are actually ABLE to get to LR. Most of the time when I play JB, CTs either get dicked on early in the round or the CTs are able to keep the prisoners in check by making the Ts crouch everywhere, to the point where CTs did such a good job of controlling T’s that there are more than the required 3 to force LR. “But kicks, you can do an LR even when there are more than 3 Ts alive, just give the T a pistol and do shot for shot, or pull out your knives and do a knife battle”. No one does that shit, s4s takes way to long to set up unless CTs come prepared with a desert eagle, which is unlikely because CTs literally spawn with USP-S, and CTs get head armor advantage in both S4S and knife battle without using the LR plugin. I really don’t think I have seen a person who has played jailbreak and didn’t want to rebel. Recently, it’s become much more harder for CTs to get to LR. The people that only play for LR will have to wait, they’re the minority here. Most players get on JB to rebel, but when they’re forced to do the same things over and over (crouch walk to iso, go to soccer, go to pool) they get bored, which means they leave. This is why our JB server is slowly dieing, we do the same fucking thing literally every round or we kill the CTs before anything happens. A player connecting can always ask a player already on if they’re allowed to do one of these days. Not a big deal. And the people that only play for the “simplicity of having no plugins”, are (have you noticed the trend yet) FUCKING GONE. The active server base we have now, are players that are new to the game mode, once they find another JB server that has all of what we have and more, they won’t stick. On my phone as I write this, so forgive me if there are any mistakes. Something I’ve been meaning to write for a while now is, special days. What I mean by that is, a special round, that the CTs instate- such as a PURGE day or a WAR day. Or, maybe even a death game day, where CTs can force the Ts into deathgames and continue doing deathgames until LR. Of course, these days will only be every few rounds. I’ll give a basic rundown of what each of these examples that I mentioned are. War day- a day where CTs make a room KOS (such as soccer) and and the Ts have to come to that room and kill the CTs. After a few minutes the CTs have to go and pursue the Ts. (Very basic rundown) Purge day- a day where the CTs can kill any of the Ts outside of maincell , after a few minutes the CTs have to leave the area they are in and pursue the Ts, the Ts have pursue as well. Simon says day - a day where CTs can force the simon says deathgame. There are a few more ideas that I have in mind, but I don’t want to overcomplicate things until this idea becomes a reality. These “special rounds” will help spice things up in our dull server. One of the reason I don’t play JB as often as I used to, is because I’ve done practically everything I could have multiple times over. Anyway I could’ve rebelled or any amount of T’s I’ve clutched against, has been done, and these ideas will bring back some old players that sit at the top 20 of our leaderboards and haven’t logged into the server for months.
