Excuse the long title, but it's necessary imo. Several outlets within the past hour broke the news that the attorney for the Laundrie family released the content of Brian Laundrie's notebook, which was found near his remains at the Carlton Reserve. According to Laundrie's attorney and the Petito family's attorney, neither families had read the notebook in its entirety, and were only briefly shown the contents regarding the confession. Articles are describing a rough transcription of the notebook, which was partially water damaged. A portion of the confession reads, “She would wake in pain, start her whole painful cycle again [illegible] furious that I was the one waking her. She wouldn’t let me try to cross the creek, thought like me that the fire would go out in her sleep and she’d freeze. I don’t know the extend of Gabby’s injuries, only that she was in extreme pain. I ended her life, I thought it was merciful, that it is what she wanted but I see now all the mistakes I made. I panicked, I was in shock. But from the moment I decided, took away her pain, I knew I couldn’t go on without her.” So far, this is only a portion of the contents contained in the notebook, as is it still being determined who is the actual owner of the notebook (if it was Brian's, Gabby's, or combination of the two). If the Petitos' civil lawsuit against the Laundries' proceeds to a jury trial, the public may be able to see more evidence that may not have been otherwise presented. as someone who was born a mistake and was not aborted i have some opinions regarding this topic some people are not meant to be parents, physically, mentally, emotionally, or financially if a child is just going to grow up in misery and barely has a chance of surviving, why should a woman not be able to make that choice herself? those who say that a woman shouldn't abort or should just give the child up for adoption clearly have no idea how awful the foster care system is and how many children are abused or victimized in the system or by their very own foster families even in the case of adoption there is still the thousands of dollars worth of medical bills for doctors visits and giving birth itself as someone mentioned, having children born into broken homes only leads to more problems later on when they're in society and say if someone actually decides to keep this baby, there are very scarce resources for women who can't afford to raise a child fuck, half of the fucking house of representatives voted against the Infant Formula Supplemental Appropriations Act which was literally needed to address the shortage of formula which babies NEED don't even say you're pro-life if you don't give a shit about a baby once it's popped out taking away the right to abortions is only going to take away safe abortions. i'm not even going to comment on life threatening or etopic pregnancies because it seems like people would rather a woman die than have her terminate an already dead fucking fetus

i got in an accident 3/18. someone ran a light in a cute little GMC sierra it sucks i lost a job bc i can't lift anything more than 10 lbs i'm terrified of driving i've gotten in three other accidents that def weren't as bad but this was not great
