  1. I very much doubt this, as it stands AO's have a lot on there plate. They have to deal with their servers and constantly fix bugs or update the servers. Adding another not needed task to the list wouldn't help their situation as is. It is not making the channels that would be the problem, it is setting up different ranks for each server, getting 1 bot to @ different groups in different chat channels. Not something that higher-ups want to deal with, on top of that, constantly fixing bugs and updating the bot as things go wrong. This would be horrible to have to do, making even more categories then there already are, and on top of that, doing it to every different rank. I don't even think the BD's would attempt this, and if they did it would be more confusing and challenging then the rank system change we are going through at the moment.
  2. At the moment call admin is confusing enough, but making new ranks to show who gets notifications for what servers would be a lot of work, and cause a lot of confusion. On top of that changing ranking on the forums and servers, (after we just have) to accommodate for those who apply for a specific admin role. If a player applies for admin it should be based of of how they act, how they deal with situations, and whether or not they would be a good admin. For a player to be good at one thing or liked by a certain community should not give them the right to bypass the other rules/requirements of admin.
  3. I don't like this idea personally. Not only would this cause confusion with the regs in the community i.e. calling admins onto a server to deal with rule breakers, but it also would limit what an admin could do when there are rule breakers. Having an admin that would only have powers on a specific server(s) would make it even more difficult to deal with rule breakers. Not having the power to deal with a rule breaker but have people yelling at you telling you to do something. When someone abstains an app it does not count as a vote, if they do reapply because of a reason as such it usually gets deleted. But applying for admin is about being active or well known it the community. Limiting it to rely on a specific servers population to vote would only lessen the votes on a players application.
  4. SG shop

That is why you should be weary of what you buy, and if you absolutely don't like it then you can "sell" it. Giving someone the option to "sell" it back for almost all of the credits they bout it for would make the point of credits over time useless. A player could just jump from item to item when they get bored of their old one. Making it at something like 50% would make it so the feature wouldn't be completely useless, but also wouldn't be abused and ruin the credits over playtime feature.
  5. I think he is talking about models you can buy in the shop. I have heard a lot of people bring this up as the skins in the shop at the moment are not liked compared to the SUB and VIP skins. Giving them a chance to play with better looking cosmetics without buying SUB or VIP.

  7. Dom had 3 kills, and he calls me bad... As reid said, we should do this again

  9. Weird date to do promotions???
  10. Had an amazing time, even with the memes at the end... Definitely think we should do another.

  14. In all seriousness when he asked me whether or not to post about it I took a little bit to think. This would most likely not happen but there are tier 6 maps that have a lot of bugs and spots where players get stuck. When we first added bhop to mg this happened on a few maps and the way to get the player unstuck was by slapping them. For instance, the player gets stuck on the starting platform of stage 3.
  15. Favorite car?

    Mk4, I'm a 6 speed kind of guy.
  16. Favorite car?

Yes, at the moment I am swinging more in the direction of a supra, as I am starting to go to a lot more track days.
  17. Favorite car?

So glad you brought this up. I tend to swing more towards JDM cars as many friends have them (Including an r34). At the moment I am looking at getting a right hand drive rx7 imported. By far one of my favorite cars. At the moment I have one but it has kind of turned into a project car for me. Can't really pinpoint an exact favorite, but most late 90's early 00's JDM cars are my preference. They are importable if you make the correct adjustments to the specific things that failed the crash tests. Also it looks like we have the make car taste.
  18. Exactly what I was thinking Little bitch
  19. I like the idea, but I don't think we should fully limit ratings, maybe doing 1 or 2 pg-13 to start, later doing a R rated or something, I only say this because I know we have a lot of older members that would rather watch rated R's...
  20. You may not have to get a new copy of windows, for a lot of people it will just transfer over, make sure you check that before buying a new copy.
  21. If your defending it then there is nothing to imagine.
  22. Ya, thank for bumping this, I think there are a lot of surfers that play in our community that would join. It might bring a bit of population to the server as well, a lot of players that I talk to don't even know that we have other servers. If you can't run it, it would still be great to have if someone else could. Sent from my Z956 using Tapatalk
  23. Like the idea, I think there are a few details lacking though, such as: - Health of Nightcrawlers - How long the Nightcrawlers become visable - How fast they regenerate mana - How upgrades and shop items are bought (Such as a credit system) With that said, I do really like the idea and I used to play something a lot similar in G-Mod. I think it is a great idea, if it can be done. It would be nice to have some TTT events as they are hard to think of. I do see one thing that I think you can clarify for me, the player limit/ max number of CT's. I'm sure it can and will be changed based on how the event would be going, but I feel that 4 Nightcrawlers is a small amount for a full server, or at least near full.
  24. I have taken some time to think the whole fake body idea over. I have come up with a few conclusions that could be useful. First, making the body unID-able, making it more of a convincing aspect. For instance, lets say you have been KOS'd and are being shot at by a detective. You use the body tool to drop a body where you are standing. This would cause the detective to make the call they killed you and stop shooting. To implement this correctly and make it a viable thing to use, I would suggest (if possible) making a kill show up in the bottom right or "giving them a kill". Second, making the body ID-able but not having the player disappear from the score board or live count. Making it a item that can be useful if the other players are not checking the score board or paying attention to the players that "are alive". It would also give the availability to make the price 1 credit like the rest of the items; without changing the game mode in itself.
  25. I am up for trying this, but I see one thing that could be a toss-up, the armor on innocents. While I do think it is a great idea, it might not be to the rest of the server. A lot of times I see players that are not as aim based and have a harder time killing. Especially when it comes down to situations like a big crowd of innocents. With that said I don't think it would change much for our regulars, to be honest I don't think many of them would even notice it was added. Now for what eden said about removing items like matchboxes and mines. While I don't think they are used as often as they should be; I'm not for removing them. First, mines are very useful on smaller maps, and if used right can easily decide a round. They tend to be used by our more experienced players as most players don't know the command, or just don't want to type the whole thing out to place one mine. Second, matchboxes are rarely used. Maybe players don't know what they do or they just don't prefer to use them. But with that said I have seen a lot of Regs use them and it worked out in their favor. If you use them right know one should know you used them in the first place.
