  2. @BluESandwicH I don't think Blatant Disobey really needs to be more in depth. It's already pretty clear cut, if you don't follow the order you are warning shot then KOS'd. However, there is some sound pollution and mic chatter that can confuse things. It's a little difficult to hear orders at the start of the round when all the Ts are knifing their cellmates, and when Prisoners are unmuted it's even more chaotic. Just be more clear when you're giving First Order or other Orders, and freekilling will be avoided.

  4. Map Suggestion Full map name ttt_community_pool_2018_ego Type of map TTT Link to map download https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1436092970&searchtext=ttt+damon Additional Information Slight update and rework to the TTT map Community Pool. The area around kitchen has been updated to make it less camp heavy. Screenshots attached No
  5. An Innocent menu would be over powered. This version of the plugin is already extremely Traitor sided, which is why Detectives had to be buffed. I don't think Innocents really need a change. If anything, I would make Detectives a little less strong because it is not uncommon for a Detective to kill multiple Ts.
  6. @Ejivis and @BoM Speccy hasn't been updated in years and doesn't read modern CPU temps properly. I just stress tested my CPU using Ryzen Master and it was 30-40°C afterwards. https://gyazo.com/f18d3e216a0de55e5540f62e558dc7b6

  9. It's not just possible, but probable. If you have genuinely changed your character and not just put on a face in your time off, people will notice and most likely give you a 1/2 month reapply or a support on your admin apps. There are plenty of examples of admins that have done dumb stuff in the past and have since changed their ways.
  10. Many of SG’s regulars are interested in technology and building computers, so I thought I’d compile a list of recommended builds for 2019. Please keep in mind that these are templates and not blueprints, so if you prefer different brands for computer hardware and cases, then feel free to use those instead of the ones I have listed. I’d like to list a few notices before we get started. These prices DO NOT include the prices of OPERATING SYSTEMS, PERIPHERALS, MAIL IN REBATES or other accessories. If you are doing a Ryzen build, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR MEMORY IS RYZEN CERTIFIED otherwise it will not run at its advertised speeds and default to 2166 MHz. YOUR POWER SUPPLY SHOULD HAVE A RATING OF BRONZE OR HIGHER. It is NOT worth spending several hundred dollars on a system only to have it fail because your power supply fried your motherboard. If you do not plan on overclocking your CPU, feel free to drop down to the non-X or K model. Keep in mind that Intel’s stock coolers are garbage, so I’d recommend you at least buy a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. Recommended brands: Power Supplies: Corsair (some of their low tier PSUs have QC issues so beware), EVGA (avoid the SuperNova series, the brand they use for isn’t that great) SeaSonic and SuperFlower. Another note: PSUs should be double your rated power draw just in case. CPU Coolers/ Case Fans: Cooler Master, Noctua and Corsair Mother Boards: ASUS (hit or miss, their higher tier lines are good but be careful of their low tier lines), Gigabyte, MSI, AsRock (Taichi line specifically). SSDs: Samsung (850 EVOs for SATA and 950 EVO/PRO for M.2 nVME) HDDs: Western Digital (Black or Blue if you want to save money), Seagate (hit or miss, I’ve never had a bad experience with their drives but it’s all anecdotal) Hitachi (Ultrastar and Desktar) Memory (RAM): Corsair (LPX is the best deal) and Kingston HyperX GPUs (Video Cards): ASUS, MSI (avoid their Armor line, it’s garbage), EVGA and Sapphire Cases: Corsair (750D, Obsidian series, and Crystal series), Fractal Design (Define R5 and Meshify C) and INWIN if you can find their older cases online. Low-tier: Intel/Nvida: ($552.25) AMD/Radeon: ($530.55) Mid-tier: Intel/Nvidia: ($1336.46) AMD/Radeon: ($1060.94) High-tier: Intel/Nvidia: ($2116.61) AMD/Radeon: ($1439.36) Recommended websites and YouTube Channels to keep up with tech related news: AnandTech Tom’s Hardware Gamer’s Nexus Hardware Canucks Happy Building!
  11. @Gator, I just said that because many people who play on servers main one specific server instead of playing all the game modes. If a user wants to comment on an application for someone they don't play with but have interacted with online, it would give them a better idea on who's applying if they know who they are based on Forum and TeamSpeak interactions. It would allow them to make a more personal vote rather than just supporting them or reapplying them based on what they see in the Application thread.
  12. I think a convenient addition to the forums would be a scrim player counter in the side bar or somewhere on the front page. This would really streamline scrim matches as it would help to prevent people spamming shoutbox with begging for scrim players. If someone wanted to start a scrimmage, then they could join the server and make an announcement in the player count box. It'd make scrim players and shoutbox users happy because it would clean up some clutter and players wouldn't have to go through the hassle of inviting someone who might not be able to or want to play a match at the moment. I'm sure people have brought this up before, I just thought I'd give my two cents on the subject.
  13. Keycaps

I don't usually use rubber keycaps because I prefer doubleshot PBT keycaps. I'm currently using a PBT keycap set with hiragana labels from EnjoyPBT and I'd highly recommend it for a better typing experience.
  14. I agree with @Ejivis on this one. The 100 post count was a little too much and scared off many regs that were great admin material from applying. I was talking to @Bdcoll about this issue earlier, and came to the agreement that 25-50 posts would've been better. It allows regulars from different servers to have a better grasp on who's applying, and it helps users become more familiar with the way things work around the SG community.

  16. Your graphics card is pretty good. Mid to high end graphics cards and pc components tend to last through cycles of five years or so, so you don't really need to upgrade unless you have spare cash lying around. I'd recommend a RTX 2080 since that's the only upgrade that'd make a noticeable difference.
  17. Finally a reason to reinstall Gmod.
  18. I think that this would be a pretty useful addition to the plug-in since it would help prevent people from flooding the server with commands. Software development is a little more in depth than that but this isn't really on topic so I'm not going to get into it.
  19. I suggest that on TTT we have fun/special rounds for an hour a day for a week. We've already experimented with this on the server a few times with some of the Event team. I think that this could be a fun addition to the game mode occasionally so it doesn't get stale. These fun rounds could include - low grav, hyperspeed, high/low health and extra damage etc. The other servers get extra events and more traffic so it's understandable if the admins don't want to do anything.
  20. I don't think this will change the servers too much, seeing as we already get cheaters and griefers on the server. If someone is breaking the rules, then just record and make a player complaint and it will be dealt with like normal.
  21. Thanks for the explantion, I was just worried about some of the side effects of having a system like that on the server.
  22. I believe this could be a good addition to server, as it could encourage people to play more often. However, I think this could encourage some people to abuse the system and Freekill and RDM more so they don't lose as many points. Also, as @WillofCamelot and @Charliere said, it could also cause technical issues with the server.
  23. The 7700k runs much hotter than the 6700k, so if you dont want to pay for a beefier cooler then go with the 6700k
