I've got the game and it's a lot of fun! I'm definitely up for an event even if it's only ~4 or 5 people who own a switch and the game.

Big support for this event!! We can also have one for Secret Hitler but that's for another event suggestion. One thing that I thought I should bring up is that the game does have quite a few bugs when it comes to adding people and getting them into a match. Depending on the account's creation time-frame and region (I think), the servers sometimes aren't able to add people together into one game. It might be good if we get everything set up prior to the event time to see if everything works! With that said, alternatives such as Midnight would be easier to set up (and it's newer/prettier) so maybe a poll might also be good.

Does this method also work with full-disk encryption? I use VeraCrypt on all of my hard-drives and had always thought that it was completely secure. What would you advise as the best way for maximum security?

I'm thinking that it would be beneficial to have a 1v1 game hosted by a single person where they make a lobby and add the individuals participating in the match. The match can then be streamed or watched through CS's own client with the map being one taken from the Workshop. However, the person hosting it should not be able to participate as they would have client-side advantage when hosting. This would diminish the need for a dedicated server (which I assume is costly time and money-wise), increase fairness, and would be easy to implement into a single event or even turned into a monthly thing.

Will we be allowed to keep the models after the event??

never been a big fan of Tesla's designs (they look like cars made by phone manufacturers) but the price tag tho! Model X is ~80,000 and the new Model Y is ~40,000 with many of the features that makes a Tesla, Tesla! Sure, it doesn't have the cool factor of the gulf wing doors or the bragging rights of owning an X, but it's a surefire option when compared to something like the Lincoln MKX which is also around 40,000 usd.

I completely agree and think that Elon himself is more concerned about his vision and goals. However considering that he has obligations to fulfill for the shareholders and investors, it’s important to rack up profits to show sustainability and minimize the restrictions that are put onto his work. The new car is definitely super appealing though. In a couple of years I think that I would consider the Mode Y a better option to gas alternatives considering cost performance.

Tesla has just announced its Tesla Model Y! It's an SUV model starting at $39,000 and 230 miles of range (which is a relatively common price for a "high-end" SUV). Hopefully, production doesn't suffer as much as it did during the production of the other models, but considering the current demand and market impact it is going to have, I'm guessing that we're gonna have another backdraft. There's sites that are saying how Model Y is the first car to be profitable (high volume/gross margin) which hopefully puts more cash into Elon's wallet which he can invest into his other companies. What are your opinions on Tesla and Elon's newest product? Also, would you consider purchasing the Model Y if you could receive it without delay? Let me know your thoughts~!

I'm (was) a pianist by trade (Royal College of Music uwu) so I can't really relate to y'alls but everything Tchaikovsky is so freakin' beautiful. Ravel's orchestral works are a real piece of work and they're my favorite(s) [especially La Valse]. Played through Hollow Knight when it first came out and I just freakin love the aesthetic and atmosphere. I gotta play through the DLCs now that I've heard this >:3

Hey y'all, Been browsing through this forum and realised that there wasn't a thread for classical music. It might be a genre that people think as boring or pretentious, but it's where music started and exposure to it is the first step to enjoying it. There's so much detail in intonation, phrasing, and voicing that pulls at your heartstrings in a way other genres can't quite capture. Here's a few popular pieces that I enjoy: 1. venetianisches gondellied (lieder ohne worte) - F. Mendelssohn (there's also the Venetian Boat song which is quite nice and popular) 2. all of Chopin's etudes (and waltzes if you're feeling frisky) I especially recommend the opus. 10 ones. 3. Hungarian Rhapsody - F. Liszt (This one's a classic. I think it's the one in Tom and Jerry too!) 4. Liebesleid and Liebestraum by Kreisler (Akiko Meyers does a banging job) (there's way too many more to list!) I love this idea! Depending on the act, I'm thinking that we can use different platforms to stream/audition. ex) For music and singing, we can use discord/TS as long as the performer has good internet (so 40kbps codec actually works) and make the performances as live as possible. I'm thinking that categories would be beneficial to separate the applicant pool. It might also be good to set restrictions on what we can define as "talent", not to discourage anyone from applying, but making sure their act is within reasonable standards so we don't get people slapping their thighs for an "organic drum" solo.

To start off, here are some shows to definitely watch: Céline: Hedi (the one and only) Slimane was just announced as the Creative Director (CD) of Céline after his revolutionary post at YSL (now SL thx to him) He's adding a menswear section to the traditionally feminine luxury brand and adding the weekly-drop style of marketing (similar to those of supreme). Burberry: Riccardo Tisci is now the CD of Burberry! Although I'm not a huge fan of his Ameri-centric designs, it's definitely going to be an interesting show to see what he's going to do with a heritage brand! MM: Maison Margiela, of course you gotta watch this one. Honestly, just do it. Honorable Mentions would include Xiao Li, fengyi tan, and underage but there shouldn't be too much to these.
