Hello Steam-Gamers, I am pleased to announce the Steam-Gamers Summer Charity Stream! The stream is going to be 12 hours long and will take place on Saturday, July 18th, 2020. The charity we will be raising money for and donating to is Direct Relief. Direct Relief is a nonprofit organization that works in the U.S. and internationally to equip doctors and nurses with life-saving medical resources to care for the world's most vulnerable people. As you all are aware, COVID-19 has formed into a worldwide pandemic that has threatened and impacted countless lives. Direct Relief is constantly working to get life-saving medical equipment and medications to doctors and nurses to help fight COVID-19. Their work has supplied others with the tools needed to help save lives across the world during these hard times. We are looking for people to stream their favorite games in time slots throughout the day. Map Removal Full map name ttt_ts_slayers_chinese_v2 Type of map TTT Why should we remove it I ask people about this map and the general consensus is it sucks. It used to be relatively popular 2 years ago but now very few people play it. A lot of people complain when the map gets nominated. Problems: - Way too small (I know cq is too... but the players like the map a lot more) - No open area/too closed off - Flat map with like one building - Weird "gun spot" thing where you run over a platform to get a gun and half the time it doesn't work - not even worth fixing cause the map sucks regardless

This would not fit on any of our current servers. Invisible players would outright be too much of an interference to the gameplay of any of our servers. This event, in my opinion, would server better as an independent event and could perhaps be more of an MGT idea if anything. I'll look more into this style of gamemode and will discuss this with the team at our next meeting.

Map Removal Full map name surf_morbid- Type of map Skill Surf Why should we remove it Am I missing something? I don't play surf much so I have no idea but this is just weird. The map is probably broken and needs a fix. Otherwise, it is way too confusing for any of us to know what to do.

Don and I actually drafted up an idea like this. I had ideas for different maps to make it more thematic, but personally I like the idea. When the TTT management isn’t busy we could talk more about making this a reality depending on whether they’d want this event or not.

I remember coming on SG in like 2018 and seeing you and realizing people thought you were this immature kid. You've grown a lot since then and you're someone who became a great staff member, a great person, and someone I proudly can call a friend. I know whatever happened sucks. While I don't know much about anything, nor will I make assumptions about it, I know the type of guy you are and I totally believe you when you say it was a mistake. Lapses in judgement happen, some more severe than others, but we all make mistakes. Don't be too hard on yourself. I know it probably stings and you won't be around for a while. Don't be a stranger though. Whatever happened doesn't define you; the memories and friendships you make here do. That is what this community is all about. I hope you come back soon - I know I won't be the only one missing having you around in this community. Love ya bro. Take care.

Changing a players AWP/M4A1-S/T weapon name is technically removing evidence and therefore teaming because you're getting rid of evidence for the T team. This (changing names to confuse players) is also considering exploiting anyways and you should avoid doing this at all. The !ws function should not be abused or have any effect in the round; if you see someone doing this feel free to warn/report them.
