Currently, the way points work is a constant amount for wins and losses, but the kill point system seems to be messed up. Something that hasn't changed is that players with less points than you gain more points for when they kill you, and if you kill them, its a constant value of 2 points. I don't know what has changed as of recently, but I have consistently lost points from going greatly positive. The new system seems to heavily favor new players, but it seems this was not intentional, as I said earlier, Trazz said something about the config of the retakes plugin being changed.

Yeah so I don't know what's changed with the way points are given and taken on SG retakes, but it seems like it heavily favors new players now. Yup (#1) has lost 8k points in 3 days when he consistently went positive. I have lost around 2k from it. I've talked to Trazz about this and he said someone messed with the config of the server, and thats why points are messed up. All I want to know is: Will there be a fix for this, or will this stay permanent?

I didn't want to write this message, and I still don't want to, but it needs to be said. I'm leaving the SG Community (like for good). I've enjoyed my time on the server and I hope my presence was enjoyed by others too. I remember the time I first found this server and decided to play. I joined the JB server and not even a week later I played music like an annoying idiot. I got banned and didn't even know it or know why it happened until months later. The server was fun, there was a community of people who would make constant banter. I felt like I belonged. There were many strategies and metas that I might have started and quickly ended, but it was always an enjoyment. Then one guy, who was stoned off his mind all the time, named Shado befriended me. He was the funniest person I had encountered in a while and felt like a genuine friend. He created a group known as "smh xd" which for those of you who were in it, was probably the best group at the time, mostly because the last group of JB players were slowly leaving. It was a fun experience and had a lot of great people. We'd end up playing comp every so often and make constant jokes, it was a good time. By Christmas there was another group being created with a lot younger players who were overall pretty toxic. While our group was slowly becoming more inactive, we were growing to respect the rules slightly more than we used to, while the new group seemed to get worse with rule breaking. The new group of people had people getting banned left and right and it was pretty sad. After Christmas time there was a pretty spaced out period of me getting less active, and eventually not joining for around a month at a time. I believe that the group known as smh xd will be one that will be forgotten. I realized that with all the toxicity and hatred on the server I was better off maturing from it and realizing that I'm better than it, and for that, I thank SG. Fuze, thank you for clarifying things. My final question is simply, how are admins supposed to handle these situations without seeing exactly what the supposedly freekilled person saw? I'm fine with the fact that dong couldn't see that I was looking at the wall, but I don't want that to be the only perspective of judgement, maybe add some honor system for this specific kind of order (that doesn't already favor the ct giving the order). Orrrr, as an extremist alternative, change the directional order entirely so that if someone was not so obviously following the order they could be given a chance to show that they aren't looking in the wrong area. (half of this is salty feedback and the other half is actual curiosity so a response is appreciated.

Alright so recently I got killed for this order: "All t's line up shoulder to shoulder on the south wall of pool, face the wall and crouch." I was killed for looking at the wall at an angle. Now I've talked to some admins about this and they've all said that if you're cursor is facing the direction they tell you that it is considered following orders. I did exactly that and simply based on the CT's judgement and the admin RIGHT NEXT TO ME I was fairly killed for this exact reason. I was wondering whether this rule has changed or is going to change in any way seeing as the current state, while rare, does cause problems. (hoping for an answer from a higher up that will clarify this).

Guys... I was giving my two cents not asking for what incentive should be added. If I was talking about ways to improve the CT debate I would've put this in Suggestions. (I just want to hear your exaggerated opinions, not your solutions).

JB a land of chaos and fun, and while I do enjoy it I have to think of the dumbest questions. What the fuck is the incentive of playing CT? For starters you have 2x as many people going against you that are fucking bitching and moaning half the time, and you can't shoot them without a proper reason or at least one that won't make them shout. You have no clue as to whether a player has a pistol that they are planning to aim right at your head and are the next victim. There are many things that may help such as 100 armor and primaries to start with, but on some maps, that doesn't matter. I first questioned why people disliked the fact that T's could stand in each other, and now I understand because when a T stands inside 2-3 people it becomes an impenetrable freekill wall that is extremely annoying on the CT's side compared to the T's. While you do get to fill that gap in your life allowing you to force people to do certain things and now risk their lives (at 2:00 w/6+ people). There is the everlasting hatred of poor teamwork. With T's all you need is one person with a pistol to start a full blown rebellion that doesn't need organization. It is shown from the scoreboards ending up going to 14 T wins and not a single CT win. Now disregard everything said previously because of the only reward stupid enough to care about, FUCKING KD BROS. In all seriousness, I want to know other peoples opinions on why they play CT so comment if you have a reason, not to refute the things stated.

So I (sadly) know where this fake rule came from, I won't say their name but I will give this piece of advice. If you hear anyone that isn't admin or above say a rule, and it isn't directly in the !rules then please, get confirmation from an admin. A month or two ago I remember a trend of people making claims about rules that they heard from people who heard it from admins. Unless you have direct confirmation I suggest you shouldn't spread the idea of these rules (LR kos after round end, and pool catwalk is a catwalk meaning it is kos).

Video of me stuck above the vending machine outside. I got there by crouch jumping and grabbing the mac 10, but after a bunch of errors, I glitched into the platform and above the vending machine. I have no idea how this glitch even works or how it happens but its impeding my ability to play. EDIT: this happened when I grabbed the mac 10 through the platform (the faster way).

You can post your own videos of spotting people, but they cannot be from another sg member. ^Context^ Alright, I understand that this is not the best video to find a sg member in, but simply put, I am not saying you should cheat to do this, nor is the person uploading the video. Once again I would like to state, I do not support the actions in the videos, I simply support the idea of laughing at people getting extremely angry. ^Context^ Member is named mx on the server or Maxxxx, and he was just doing a bit poorly in a bhop gamemode. Just want to see the model of the fountain on both electric, and revamp because I aimed at someone that was behind it (but had full vision of them) for a wallbang shot (78) with an awp and I was wondering if that model would ever be fixed.

Recently I took a break from jb for a week and came back to a lot of things being broken. One such example is the LR's being broken to the extent that it is literally unbalanced. 9/10 times when a T lr's the server breaks and forgets to do two things. It doesn't change the color of either the T or the CT, and it also doesn't give the T any armor for said lr. Now this seems semi-unbalanced on paper, but when I try doing a Shot4Shot and the enemies shot does twice the damage I do #Ripglockmeta I get a little angry. If you want an example of this, simply go on jb, and wait for lrs and look at the T's armor bar.

you need two things: a different model, and no gloves equipped. Then you can use the command.

I know this thread is dead but I just want to say It seems unfair to have someone shoot at said batman model and not be hitting because of subtle confusion of a simple cape. Yes I understand that this:[ATTACH=CONFIG]18989[/ATTACH] would look dumb, but it would be fair. (if you want to talk about models not making sense then talk about the beach girl with fucking floppy boobs for god's sake).

The reason this happens is most likely due to the new update where you can stack on top of each other in casual mode. The reason it works on jb is because its a casual workshop map/mode Response to Manny: no this glitch only involves one person getting stuck.

So this is a bug that has been happening mostly on vipinthemix and spyvsspy, and only happens when a player crouch jumps on a box and a player is beneath them. AT's plox fix because I don't feel like being stuck in glass for 3mins of the round. (Military_King has more info on this)

Ghosting should never be allowed (Even if alive) Ghosting isn't allowed, if you're alive it's considered what's called "bloodhound" which is another way of saying 'don't be a dick' It should not be allowed for ct's to be in cells at all till a certain amount of time fucking why? CTs are allowed to go wherever they want (besides exploits). Forcing death games: Forcing death games is needed I am pretty sure. This server doesn't do that because there are a lot of children on who don't want to spend their time dead because of a deathgame they would most likely get nothing from if forced. there's 4 t's and ct's / t's want to lr death games are needed. The set amount of t's required for lrs is three here, one extra lr would mean nothing. Freedays: Freeday should only be allowed once every 2 rounds While freedays can be given any round I'm pretty sure you aren't allowed to give the same orders more than three rounds in a row. So this just seems ridiculous and hard to keep track of Free damage / free kill: I am sick and tierd of people screaming FREE KILLER FREE KILLER If players are screaming into their mic repeatedly shouting this they will most likely get muted, I suggest you don't base your opinion on a one time occurrence. Giving out free days: You should not be allowed to give out free days to a single person in the middle of the round Special orders are allowed but not if repeated. Keep in mind that any ct can revoke the fd as easily as it can be given. Back to the time thing: Ct's should not be allowed to go in secrets till 6:00 it's basically impossible to go in secrets because people are scared that ct's are just sitting and camping there. If cells aren't opened by 7:00 shall be automatically a freeday (ct's can say if it's restricted or not) I'm going to start skimming this rather than read this in detail because you clearly must be insane to let rounds last more than five minutes Camping: Ct's should not be allowed to camp armory at all They can camp, its a part of being on ct, however if you are camping to the point of not helping your team/delaying then it is not allowed. All types of lr cheating should not be allowed. You are not allowed to kill someone that is in lr, if you hurt someone in lr / stand in the way you should be slain. Isolation is counted as a cell before 6:00. So it seems that people are abusing the phrase blatant disobey and I just want to know something about it. So in a recent match on vipinthemix there was an order to go to soccer pitch. I was not alive at the time so I personally wasn't affected by it. Now the round that this happened it seems that around 15-20 seconds later people were getting sprayed down for simply entering garage from soccer pitch for 'blatant disobey' which doesn't make a lot of sense seeing as soccer is right next to garage. What I could see from the chaos was people throwing HE grenades into garage, spraying people down (even without primaries) and a general show of the server at its worst. Now ik there were small cases that were blatant, and kos, but it seemed like an excuse for the cts to grind up kills in an unrighteous way. Here is my question, what are admins supposed to do in this case?
