I remember bringing this up in the most recent JailBreak community meeting, and the managers said that it's a possibility that it would get added, but with plugins of some sort. Whatever it was, I believe this could move the server more toward a role play style rather than DM, and also benefit the server. While war days are Ts and CTs are killing people, it still could work. Admins could use their powers to start the war days (i.e teleporting people, keeping CTs out of armory, and whatever else). Also, I think that if war days are used too much it could move the server to a DM style, so a limit of 1 per map would work. CTs get their guns, pick a spot, and defend against the Ts. Whether it could move the server away from DM or not, I think it's a good addition as I see it on many other JB servers and they seem to successfully work.

I think leaving dead chat to admins should stay. I (and I'm just one admin) resolve a lot of problems while in dead chat because its after everyone died and most of the time at the end of the round. It gives me a brief moment where most of the server is quiet and I get to do my job. I wouldn't mind just reducing it to donors, in my eyes that's the only way it could work (keep in mind JB normally has higher pop. than TTT). I couldn't even process in my head having to administrate 2 different voice chats with 40+ people on the server by myself. Kind of just seems like a headache in my eyes.

You’re not wrong, I didn’t put it in the op because I wanted it to be about why switching to a KZ server would be good. I’m also not sure how much my ideas could do saying that I’m just an SA. I’m on phone I’ll put the ideas down later.

KZ server is what helps people to get better in the actual competitive game. It’s only their movement, but it’s something. That’s why Retakes and 1v1 do so well because people come there to get better at the game. I mean SurfDM was fun imo, but either it needs major revamping (which I got a few ideas of my own) or just moved to another server. I play on other KZ servers to help better my movement and many others do that as well.

I actually think CTs are fine where they're at right now. CTs can easily mute prisoners if they get too loud, nobody can abuse the head guard shit which I do believe you're right, a lot of other servers to entrust one person to run the server, but then again you need like 12+ hours to be the warden on other servers and that's something we would need to implement. It can also drive the server toward a more DM server because unfortunately people will take the 'head guard' and fully intend to give toxic orders, make every order 1-2 minutes, and just run a death game at 2:30. There could be a lot of good and bad, imo mostly bad, but some good. A custom plugin would also have to be made for this which isn't too much of a problem, but if it doesn't work it's just time wasted. The server right now is in a spot right now where I just find 1-2 people on CT giving orders for the entire time. I think CTs are fine and need zero change.

On top of that, I normally cover my nose and mouth and make sure no air can travel to me for about 5 minutes. Normally works, but sometimes doesn’t.

After playing JB for almost 2 years now, I can safely say that an ELO system would fully morph the server into a DM server. The player base that JB possesses is unfortunately people that are thirsty for kills. You can argue with me on that, but if you play on the server for an hour even you'll see CTs giving inaudible orders so people fuck up, they purposely won't repeat orders when asked to, they'll give confusing orders (thank god for no more cardinal orders) and they'll give warning shots 3.01 seconds after the first one. ANY system that pretty much encourages CTs to get kills would create such a toxic environment on the server, almost unplayable. We're on the border of a DM server and I think we need to dial it back a bit and add things that can turn the server around. One could say that the rules in place are what prevent the server going into DM mode. Now, in some places that's correct, but not all. Unfortunately, people that come here for strictly kills skirt around the rules and do wrong things, and get away with it. It's just the nature of the server and whether admins are on or not or somebody is recording, players get away with it. The rules are what prevents a DM server, but this system would just worsen it. In the end, I think there's only so much you can do to prevent JB turning into a place for just stat padding. The people are what make up the server so whoever is on choose what to do. Unfortunately, a lot of JB's player base are kill hungry silvers that tend to be very toxic and only care for kills.

Following the rank resets, and if you guys plan to consistently reset JB ranks, why not have an award if you get the Top 1 spot on JB after every reset. Would be a cool addition for the JB players.

I'm not sure if this is a server that could do well. An AWP server just another idea in the basket for a server along with the many other ideas that have been suggested. It just seems like it wouldn't be a viable server. Also, somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but, there are MG maps that are dedicated just for AWPs. I also believe that this idea would be last in the line for all the other server ideas for SG.

We could never add a points system for CTs based on kills. The freekilling and incentive to kill Ts would sky rocket.
