The plugin is not broken, it only enables once there are 20 people online and the requirement is 30 minutes of playtime. The whole point of a playtime requirement is to not only stump any hasty rule breakers, but also give new players adequate time to get acquainted with some of the rules; to expect every new player to have read all of the in-game and forum rules before they play CT is unreasonable. The point is to have new players get the basic understanding of our gamemode, then get on CT side and learn through experience. That's why it's important to kindly explain to people their mistakes and not have a tantrum in chat demanding a slay. The last discussion on raising requirements to get on CT side was here and was rejected for reasons best explained by @fantasticin this thread: So no, we will not be raising the requirements. However, we can discuss lowering the # of players required to enable the plugin, but I don't think that'll have any worthwhile effect.

Just because people forget about a rule doesn't mean it isn't still true or can't be enforced. As stated in the FAQ: So, this means if it is the Ts turn during S4S and their knife is out while they are in knifing distance to their opposing CT, they can be killed.

Good questions @butchin, thanks for asking. Like @Amazing mentioned, crouch walk orders are not allowed. You can order the Prisoners to crouch, but not crouch walk. Cell/ In cell orders are allowed to be given, however Guards should open cells by 1-minute into the round and cannot give the same orders repeatedly round after round. Explained above, a T menu is unnecessary and would be mostly pointless because there is only one thing Prisoners can buy. Rejected, thanks for the idea though.

@n!Would be right here. We are doing an event soon where a version of this map would be played, but before it gets added to the map pool (If the reception during the event is positive) we would want an optimized and bug free version of this map on the servers. We will look into having someone on the modding team possibly give it a shot, no promises though. The map was removed last summer for being buggy (and having a terrible history of bugs) and killing server population. If we get good reception at the event, we will start efforts on trying to bring the map back to you guys.

The event is about wrapping up, thank you to everyone who showed up! I expected low turnouts, but we did very well with being over 25 people the entire event and being above 30 for a good portion of the event! Remember, if you have a Map or JB Event Suggestion to make them. It never hurts to tell people your ideas and opinions, and maybe they're good too!

There are some posts I miss, but if I really feel like I haven't seen some posts you can click on the little newspaper icon and "Unread Content" at the top right of the page and it reads similarly to the old forums.

Thanks to the wonderful Events Coordinators and @Easterpink this event is coming soon. Depending on how the chosen maps do in the event, they might be added back to the server. Make sure to come around to the event (December 4th) and hear @daftycomplain about his frame drops. Jailbreak Event Suggestions Jailbreak Steam Group Map Suggestion/Removal Section I'll keep the thread open for people to suggest maps for the event.

It's great to see the excitment this thread brought to many, but just remember if you want a map added to the map pool make a Map Suggestion thread.

This is a favorite SM thread but I'll turn it into staff appreciation The amount of work some of these individuals do is insane, taking large portions of their time and dedicating it to the well being of their server. You don't need to look any further than the guy who posted above me. Maniac, you're apart of this community no matter how long you go away for. This guy came back and in a few months of dedication, passion, and hard work became an internal affairs officer, lead advisor, and server manager. Listen bud, you're a great face to see around here and you're helpful to everyone who crosses your path. So to speak for all of those you've been kind to, thank you for being a good human and bud. Some of the work you see though isn't posted in threads or changelogs, some of it is internal and you'll only see if you get the privilege of being an admin. I could @ you guys one by one, but the technical team, all of you, do so much for the community and it's insane. It's basically become a monthly tradition to thank the tech team because of how much good work they do. Realistically though, it's a big shout out to all the managers, meeting note takers, topic follow-upers, active members, friendly admins, oldfags coming back, newfags joining, suggesters, forum browsers, and all those who harass their server manager to add their favorite anime model (@Kit-Kat-Tat). It's what brings a community together and whole, all these little things you might forget about that make Steam-Gamers feel like your home away from home while inside your home.

This idea was suggested for Jailbreak by @ACE(Jaxx) and it's definitely a cool idea, especially how Karma has their plugin set up. The only issue I'd see with this is taking the time to try and get access to this plugin or have to make it from scratch. I decided to reject Ace's idea because of that restraint and stress it would put on the technical team, but Kieran and Gentoo might think differently (If you guys do it I totally want this for JB).

Exactly me and @Dom's thoughts. We will not be changing this ruling at all because it would debilitate the Guards too much, and any other modification of the idea would be too chaotic or annoying to moderate. Thanks for your inputs and thoughts, but we're rejecting the idea.
