  1. There's no need to continue this post with calling people out. Leave it as is with @fantastic's response unless you have another similar question.
  2. There's currently a bug with the auto-placement in spectator, it makes you spend more time in spectator not allowing you to choose a team in time. I've also seen players who join after me be alive in the round, while I stay dead. @Agent Wesker
  3. The amount of freekilling on the server can be limited by players reporting them, either by typing !calladmin in-game to get an admin online (Not always a guarantee) or by reporting them on the forums (Solid guarantee). On the other hand, if you'd like to attempt to reason with the freekiller (who might just possibly be a newer player) be kind, and advise them to type !rules and familiarize themselves with the rules. If not, you always have those other two options at your disposal (!calladmin and player complaints ).
  4. Congratulations all of you guys!!
  5. Good catch with this in the current rules. This situation never happens, but if read and pointed out it could be abused.
  6. Then in this scenario, other CT's might accidentally kill the T on the KOS area. Why do you think no one does last requests at KOS areas currently?
  7. Woah!! I've always heard great praise about GMOD TTT, now I can finally experience it first hand.
  8. The common knowledge for cheating an lr in Jailbreak is: Don't go to medic in a shot for shot Don't break the T's rules However, something I've always considered as cheating for myself is using secrets and KOS-able areas as a CT. The last request is supposed to be a fair duel between the T and CT, but if the CT runs onto a KOS catwalk wouldn't that be unfair. It might already be a rule, so I just need some clarity (and possibly have it added to the FAQ).
  9. No discussion brought and this is still a problem. Nearby T's become invisible for brief periods of time if a CT is near them with the nyan cat secret. If no one is putting forward ideas and suggestions to fix it we should remove this entirely. On top of that, we still have problems with CT's not enforcing and doing this secret. Remove it @Dominic @Manny @fantastic
  10. So whenever @Greggy G's on
  11. This would just punish SG, not the players. The whole point of Sub and VIP is to support SG and give them enough money each month so they can run their servers.
  12. Players on the server have an equal say in this like the rest of us. We advertise our forums, discord, and community meetings enough for them. If they're not willing to take ten minutes out of their day to put their two cents into a matter they "care about", they don't deserve to complain. On the flip side, because we have players like this we need to somehow see if this change like @R A W said will go well with our player base. There's enough chaos at 20 people for warden to take effect then. And for the love of god @Tagwrack , if you're going to post everywhere fix your grammar.
  13. And anyone else who uses the SG553
  14. Introduce "All CT's off mic" as an order, and also allow the warden to mute the CT's for 10 seconds.
  15. The existing "All T's off-mic" order is not perfect. As Drippy said by contradicting himself, most of the T's mic spamming are rebelling. This means it is impossible to deal out a warning shot to them, as they are rebelling. On top of this, most of the mic spam is a compilation of different conversations and team members. To properly enforce the off-mic order, the CT's need to be enforcing (Which some of them have a hard time doing). Our best bet is giving the warden the ability to order the CT's off mic, not force them with a command. I've seen this work on Tango, and there wasn't too many problems with it.
  16. Using a voting system will create an environment for abuse, and I'm not opposed to trying it out. However, I'm letting it be known that this will get abused fast. People who don't deserve it (or will use warden properly) will get warden, while those who aren't liked will rarely ever get it (regardless of how good of a CT they are).
  17. Post's been answered, thanks @fantastic and @Manny .

  19. That thread is extremely long and convoluted, filled with many old obsolete ideas. A new thread (like @Infinityward said) should be coming soon.
  20. This was one of the major topics of yesterdays JB Community Meeting. The main ideas were to have a random assignment when there were 25+ players online. The warden would be able to retire their role and they'd automatically give the first order. Along with that, the warden can only be someone with x+ hours and admins would be able to switch the warden role as they see fit. If a player doesn't have a microphone they should also retire their warden role. Any ideas concerning a reputation system or vote system should be scrapped (IMO) because it would be abused immediately. However, for now we should just wait for the new thread (as stated a few times in this thread).
  21. It goes with the knife aswell. I think this was @R3TROATTACK 's fix to the whole killing someone the second the round starts (Correct me if I'm wrong).
  22. That happens, but not as frequently as you'd think. This would be if we extended rounds. I understand where you're coming from, but if we had rounds lasting upwards of seven minutes we'd get a lot of delaying. I think we should wait until we can try an extended round on one of the maps considered (Arcade, Clouds, etc.), and then see where we go from there with this idea.
  23. In my opinion, keeping the baiting rule as it is is fine for now. However, I never see CT's who bait get punished for it if a T has knifed them. I understand it's admin discretion, but we need to push out punishments and warnings for it a little more.
