I would play this for sure. I miss L4D2. Need to have a reason to play it and a group of people to play it with.

I've been playing Mindnight since it came out. Love this game and I feel like its a lot easier to grasp. It is free on Steam. I second the Mindnight suggestion but Support the TOS event, as well and would participate.

Yeah, I did think about Poobah and what a rip that would be. I feel like, if possible, we could allow players to keep their points so the ranks do not reset. I know one of the classics has a 0.97 second time which I forgot about so it's stuff like that that made me suggest this in the first place. I can see both sides though. We could change the percentage awards to say (old) (new) or something along those lines.

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Surf_Training, the record used a double boost which isn't possible anymore. I know there are a couple more. I think it would add more competitiveness to the server even if it wasn't solely due to some records being unbeatable though.

Yeah, I understand some people have worked quite hard for their times but that would be the only thing I would really have a problem with. I just feel like its unfair that someone can hold a record on a map using a skip which is no longer possible making the record impossible to beat. Maybe the times could only be reset on certain maps or the record revoked from the individual using the patched skip.

I wanted to post a thread to gather the communities opinion on resetting the times on all surf maps. On a lot of maps, the times are simply unbeatable due to skips that were used in the run being impossible now. Though, I understand a lot of people have worked hard for their current records, which is the only bad side I can see to this proposition. But, I feel as though it would allow players to set reasonable, yet competitive times. Also, because I suck and wanna hold a record, but that is beside the point. Again, this is just a proposition and I would love to hear your thoughts and/or ideas. Thank you.

Surf Mesas checkpoint doesnt reach all the way to the two ramps before the big circle.

I am so down for a Siege tournament. A bracket and pick teams, etc. I would advertise this to some of my friends on the surf server who play Siege but don't have forum accounts.

It seems a lot of times when I play scrim, it is very hard to fill the lobby up. Due to this, I have been thinking, if possible, we could reward the winner of the scrim store credits or raffle points. I believe this would populate the server at least a little more. It would also change the fact that each game usually has a lot of the same players as usual. I believe this would bring in newer forum members to the server, and would allow for more diverse teams. I am excited to read the opinions and suggestions of the community though.

I can't get tripmines to work on some maps. High school wouldn't allow me to plant them. It said "Invalid spot for tripmine" or something along those lines.

I think this is an awesome idea. Even though Im horrible at scrim lol.

If you're talking about surf, this is still there. You do /hideweapon. May work on other SG servers, as well if you don;t play surf.
