Thanks to @Strayyz for the awesome banner! Destiny 2 Crucible Event With recent interests in Destiny 2 within SG again due to the release of the new DLC we've decided to create a Crucible event! For this event depending on the overall outcome and players interested we're going to be able to have TDM and FFA matches spanning 5-10 minutes. If you don't have a general understanding and need improvement of Destiny 2 PvP I suggest watching this video here. A small rule, DO NOT use any game breaking glitches or bugs to make the match unfair. If caught that current match will be cancelled and you will be removed from the event. I don’t see why there’d be an issue with running it on the scrim server since it’s only a map and not any plugins. The maps would have to be checked and maybe some spawn setups but i’m not the manager. @oSenthis is when you speak

I have a few buddies I work with who used to be marines that are actually planning on going over to Ukraine to do some work and in your words "fuck shit up". Also some who aren't military but are trying to get their passports updated so they can fly out to Poland and help in Ukraine.

Personally I think NATO is making the correct choice in this sort of situation, while it's quite unfortunate that what's happening between Russia and Ukraine is a reality. I still believe if NATO were to become more deeply involved by sending armed forced to FIGHT in Ukraine that would lead to a literal world war when such major countries like the US/Euros and Russia fight toe to toe. While NATO is not able to fight with Ukraine they're at least taking steps to protect and defend other countries who are being threatened and are giving as much support as NATO possibly could without creating conflict. Everyone seems to be upset with Pres. Biden and his choice to not take action against Russia saying he's "scared of Russia and is making the US look weak" while I might not agree with some of the things he does this is one thing I can get behind him with. Biden isn't "scared" of Russia he's making an intelligent and well thought out plan on preventing a world war, not only protecting the US from attacks and retaliation but any other allied country that would follow behind.

I don't want to speak on behalf of the other higher-ups and their plans at this moment, but in the past when I held a higher rank as a Server Manager and a part of the Marketing Team we were constantly trying to figure out ways to branch out to other games/players/communities. Our goal in the past was to become an epicenter for STEAM GAMERS due to the name and having people join the community asking to be unbanned, marketplace issues, etc so there's obviously a connection so we just need to find a way to profit from others confusion lol. I think our main issue at the moment on trying to branch out is we're still in the early phase of trying to make a name for ourselves in Steam, Ubisoft, Epic games, overall gaming, etc. I believe once we find the spark that really pulls people into our community we'll have such a constant and steady flow of players, not just on CS:GO but our Discord will flourish with active members. For that to happen we need to really push towards getting our discord out there like Disboard, Discord.gg, partnership(s), etc because Discord I believe is slowly going to replace the forums we use now and the forums will only be used by members who joined while the forums were popping. But what Daft and kabLe were saying I agree that there's nothing the server managers haven't tried to return the servers to what they were prior but in the past, we had large groups of players who actively played TTT/JB/ZE as the main ones and they were a large portion of our population. But due to the release of new games that are more enticing and exciting due to being released recently they've swayed from CS:GO to Tarkov for example. There's still population and players who enjoy the servers because once you get 2-3 people on the servers the population on those servers skyrockets, I just think people are tired of getting on and waiting for others to get on to only realize that they're playing another game and won't be getting on unless asked.
