Thank you to @Clamor for the banner! We are back with another MG event! Thank you to @Reid99 for suggesting we do prop hunt again. In case you are not familiar with this game mode, the objective is for CTs is to locate and kill all of the props, similar to our Hide and Seek events. The props will have 5 minutes to hide from the CTs. If you shoot something that is not a player hiding as a prop, you will take damage. we try to have Protect the President and Juggernaut events every few months. The last time we had one of those was a while ago so i’ll look into getting another one setup soon. I dont see this working out that well on TTT as we try not to alter the gamemode too much. Ultimately it depends on what the server managers think about it. It might do better as an MGT or separate server event imo

If theres 6 CTs how do i know the T isnt pointing it at one of my teammates and not me? If youre asked to drop a secondary they cant kill you for it unless youre holding it out for an extensive time. You can drop a pistol in under a second so i dont see how theres any issue for non rebelling players. If a T pulls a secondary out long enough for a CT to notice it and identify them they can be killed. There is nothing wrong with this rule and no need to make rebelling easier for Ts.

I dont see any reason to slay during an LR other than to stop the T from gaining a point. I’ve seen many CTs say “im not letting you get the point” as they run away and slay themselves instead of letting the T kill them. I also agree that the rule should be clarified with CTs “dying from unnatural causes” as the LR states. The managers are working on making the server more RP based instead of DM and I think this would help that a bit. Again, dont really see a reason for CTs doing this other than to boost their KD or if the T decides to rebel. Another thing about LRs i’d like to add is CTs cheating LRs when they start losing. I’ve seen a good amount of people spray the T theyre in and LR with after they started to lose because “they were kos from before”. This mainly happens with S4S when the CT is low and the T is near full health. the rules state CTs are not allowed to cheat their LR but almost everyone claims that because the T was already kos the kill was justified.

we discussed having wardays done with plugins at the last jb meeting. I believe we concluded that it would be pretty difficult to get everything working properly but the ATs would look into it. The other way it can be done is manually by admins

This is a great idea and I‘ll definitely look into trying to make this happen.

Over the past few months i’ve noticed that the CT ratio has been a problem. We obviously cant force players to play CT and whenever me or a different admin ask for people to switch theres usually 1, max 2 people that volunteer. With T ranks being reset it obviously didnt help the ratio but that was kind of inevitable. I think the main reasons why CT has become unappealing to people is 1) how easy it is for Ts to rebel on most maps leaving CTs helpless and 2) new players (even regs tbh) being pushed away from CT due to the insane amount of toxicity they get for making one mistake. Imo using credits to try and motivate people has lost its effect due to many people having tons of credits saved up or not caring about the store. I wouldn’t mind seeing the store get a bit of an update like maybe some new CT skins either unlocked through rank, like ZE, or bought with credits. If anyone has ideas you can suggest them here.

it was removed because of this thread. The secret gave Ts too big of an advantage in the beginning of the round so they removed the spawn point.

For starters, if we go through with this event i’d say it wouldnt be done for a bit so by then the point reset balances out and people play CT again. As for other ways to prevent a stacked ratio, I think combining it with a Juggernaut event giving CTs a health boost is a good idea. It’s 2am so I cant think of anything else atm but if I do i’ll add on to this. Seeing as this type of event would most like be done on electric vip a 1:3 ratio is not ideal, however we cant force people to play CT unlike other events where people can be forced onto T side for ratio. @Phoenix_ did you have any ideas to keep the ratio fair when you made the post?

i’m sorry to hear about your grandparents, its hard losing people that close to you. You know you always have me and the other guys to talk to whenever you need. I hope youre doing a lot better and things only go up from here. Glad to have you back my friend
