yes it would show on the leaderboard and in text/voice chat unless the managers have a different idea for it. im sure it could probably be added to some sort of /gangsettings where its optional to show your tag but thats up to the managers and the plugins they use.

most people dont have sub/vip and some people dont want to change their group ie. people who have the SG Mem/SG Reg group tag. the CT rank system already overrides your steam group tags and sm_settag only shows your tag in chat anyways. I dont see a problem in adding Gang tags as it wouldn’t change or affect much and it would be easier than making people create and join steam groups.

If it were to be implemented it would probably be similar to the CT rank tag with how it replaces whatever clantag you had. Server rules would most likely be updated to include gang names meaning no racist gang names or impersonating admins etc. and admins would enforce it the same as if it was a racist or [sG] username.

How To Play Secret Hitler is back! Last time people really enjoyed this event so we're bringing it back. Basically there are 2 teams, the Liberals (majority) and the Fascists (minority) with a 3rd role of Hitler who is the leader of the Fascist team. Liberals only know their own role and Fascists only know who the other Fascists are. (kind of like Innos and Traitors on TTT). Hitler only knows his own role and tries to find out who his Fascist friends are. Every round, players vote on a President and Chancellor. The President is given 3 cards, either fascist or liberal policies, and they choose one to discard. The remaining 2 cards are given to the Chancellor who picks which one they want to discard meaning the other one gets enacted. Liberals win by enacting 5 liberal policies or by killing Hitler, Fascists win by electing Hitler as Chancellor after 3 fascist policies have been enacted or by simply enacting all of the fascist policies. There are also other actions that take place once a certain number of fascist policies are enacted such as the President checking a player's role or choosing to assassinate a player. Where? its not the innocents job to hunt Ts therefore they are allowed to camp. the Ts shouldnt be camping and an admin usually sends a warning before slaying if a T isnt actively searching for people. the only scenario i can think of where maybe there needs to be more discussion about is people camping in T rooms since they’re technically shooting at people with an awp but never leave the room which wastes everyones time.

One issue i’ve noticed with fists is that when you get punched by a teammate your screen shakes as if you got shot and your player model moves.

the stairs and catwalk youre talking about on VIP are kos and I would say that every other map is the same regardless if the armory door is closed or not unless someone can list an example of one that’s different.

from the JB Rukes and FAQ a more specific example would be running into soccer or kitchen. being in the open area past first cell is worthy of a warning shot as its not blatant. like Manny said, just use common sense with the definition provided.

from what i know, kosing off cosmetics was never allowed on jb in the sense of “kos minecraft head” but as stated by multiple people before, if youre the only person with a red raccoon skin with an eyeball and no one else looks anything like that then i dont see why they wouldnt be allowed to kill you later on if they see you again. maybe dont kos the cosmetic itself but make a mental note of who it was so long as it’s unique enough to be easily identifiable. as previously stated, if you get it wrong thats on you and can be punished for it.

one of the first, if not the first person i remember meeting on jb a year and a half ago, urpalerp and his eye hat. even tho we never really talked, I was still kinda proud to see you get all the way to CA. good luck with your future and I hope everything works out for you bro. I wouldnt mind seeing it lowered to 45sec. Most of the time the lead CT only ends up giving one order (usually step out and freeze) which makes a 60 second fo no different from a 30 second one. another point was brought up where Ts and CTs are unmuted at the same time which can be quite chaotic. I think Gentoo’s suggestion in this thread is interesting and should be considered.

iso is pitch black and you cant use a flashlight to see in there. kinda annoying when you get awped for accidentally going out the back wall secret.

people only play this map because its super easy to rebel as a T. mainly because of the amount of secrets but also cause most of the CTs just camp one way so its super easy to run into pool or outside without anyone noticing.

alright we all know electric vip is broken asf for rebelling. when fo is active the other CTs could ask in chat for the fo ct to tell certain people to drop their pistols however im not sure how realistic this is with the lack of teamwork that usually occurs. I’m not sure how else this would work but maybe it would help promote CTs working together again? Other than that I dont think anyone’s proposing to remove fo completely or allowing more than one person to talk during fo so that some other Ct can ask a player to drop their secondary. Im not sure a viable solution exists unless anyone has any better ideas.

you might as well remove all the guns from cells if you think its unfair. the guns are there to give the Ts a chance to rebel without it being blatantly obvious like running into pool or awp secret. the CTs have m4s/aks while the T has a pistol, theres really nothing broken about how it currently is. when fo is 60 seconds it means theres roughly 10 CTs, i highly doubt one kid with a usp or glock can kill all 10 unless its someone like Kyle. when fo is 30 sec its more likely for someone to kill 4,5 or 6 CTs but still isnt that big of an issue for it to require a rule change, especially something as specific as “no special orders in fo, except asking Ts to drop a pistol”.
