obviously, if the persons actively shooting or pointing it at you then you have every right to shoot first. this is more for when you know there's a gun but no ones necessarily trying to harm a ct whether its a pistol or primary (mainly gun plant scenarios) which a good amount of cts already try to isolate the player. not saying its a good idea, just the best idea i can think of if this were to ever change.

I think adding at least 1 repeat per round would be nice but easily abusable by CTs by intentionally fucking up orders so people ask for a repeat. however, I have a different approach to this. CTs should be required to state the reason as to why they warning shot a person. people get warning shot all the time and usually only have 3-5sec to correct themselves before being domed, not always but its not that rare for cts shoot a T and then dont say anything leaving the T confused because they believe they are following orders correctly. the reason for warning shots is to tell a T they are doing something wrong so fix it or youre dead, there should always be a reason given along with the warning shot.

I don't think theres anything we can do about it as a community about this, ie. implement some new rule. as idealist stated youre not required to slay yourself so this really only comes down to admins punishing players or player complaints. if anything, i wouldnt mind seeing a rule where you have to make T's freeze and unstack before spraying them down as long as no ct has been shot/killed yet, though i doubt anything will be changed or added as there isnt really a need for it

also i believe when a player with the panther skin has an awp its on the ground instead of in the players hands to everyone else making it harder to spot for cts. not sure if this happens with any other guns. like zzl said its most likely because of the model size being so small so im not sure if it is fixable.

yea this is more of an event to do with a group of friends rather than randos on a public server. with your group of friends you know everyone wants to be a part of that event and will take it somewhat seriously but also try to make it really fun. with randoms its harder to get everyone on the same page with people joining later and others not caring at all.

i dont think this is too much of an issue. it says no time played with that name so you should be fine plus i believe admins tell a player to change their name before banning when it happens in game. i dont think this would ever come up in the future and get you in trouble.

if possible i think this is a great idea. it would make it much easier to do custom lrs since either no one responds to it and you get killed for “not lring” or you get killed midway when the ct starts losing cause its not an official lr.

nah i agree with roux and trazz. there was a guy streaming on jb a few months ago and even tho there was a 5 second or so delay it gave away the position of all his ct buddies and made it easier to sneak up on them. you can also use it to check if a ct is camping secrets, find rebelling t’s before anyone notices theyre gone etc. i dont really see a reason to try and allow streaming cause people will 100% ghost and thats not allowed here. it just wouldnt be as fun when people know each other’s locations even tho we all know you always camp one way tag.

its been like this for as long as i can remember. its just a downside to that skin, i dont think anyone’s gonna bother fixing something like that.

while i do agree that 30min is not enough time for a player to grasp the rules, i dont think you realize how long 24h of playtime is. thats multiple days to a week (depending on how much you play daily) until that player can switch to ct. as many sg staff have said before and will most likely say on this post as well, making the required playtime a ridiculously high amount will keep players away from sg. tons of people would never play again if they saw the requirement was 24h. i think theres nothing wrong raising the playtime required to 1h, and i wouldnt mind seeing an extra layer of “protection” from freekillers and people who don’t understand rules. however, the response i expect to see given by a higher up is that if a player is breaking rules an admin will simply ct ban them. if anyone has a different solution i would love to hear it but no, required playtime will not be raised to a value that high anytime soon.

no, you cant give freedays or special orders in fo because it doesnt give the option for other cts to revoke it. during fo you have to give an order and then after fo you can give a fd/special orders. if fo isnt active (no one takes it) you can give a freeday during those first 30sec.

you have the option of !calladmin in game, making a player complaint which almost always results in a ban if you have the proper evidence or you can ask nicely in discord/teamspeak/shoutbox. i understand being frustrated by a rulebreaker but admins are not paid employees of SG, they volunteer their time and have personal lives so they cant always be on monitoring servers. thats why those 3 other options exist.

i wouldnt mind seeing this added. i know everyone would use it not just new players but it would make waiting for the next round more fun, especially when people delay. if its not too complicated for staff to add i dont see why not.

yesterday my boy Victor Mete finally scored his first NHL goal after 126 games of nothing. over the past couple games i had a feeling it was coming soon and when it happened it was pure joy in that moment. everyone was happy for him, the bench, the Bell Centre and every Habs fan watching at home. the Habs discord server blew up. unreal moment i wont be forgetting for a while. Nick Suzuki getting his first NHL goal shortly after that was icing on the cake. i’ll even add some pictures because im still cracked out from the experience.
