There is a cvar that allows us to disable the ability to drop grenades. This lets us go back to how things were before the update meaning the definition of gunplanting will not be changed. It is much easier to keep things simple than to add a bunch of exceptions and grey areas. current gunplanting definition:

chat orders suck. Like people in this thread have said, we want to encourage more voice orders not chat orders. Adding another rule for a something that has a small effect on the game is a little pointless. You'll probably be dead by the time you type out the special order anyway. If you're a CT without a mic try to be aware of your surroundings so that you don't get trapped in these kinds of situations. If you're a CT with a mic and you see one of your teammates is in trouble, help them out, you're on the same team for a reason. Like Steven said, adding more rules and exceptions for chat orders make shit way more confusing than it has to be. Rejected.

This will likely never be added as a permanent feature. We will continue to do RTD events every now and then. The RTD options are things like a speed boost or double jump, it will never have the chance of giving Ts weapons as that would break the gamemode.

Like the FAQ says, you can warn your LR partner to stop delaying after 3 seconds and you can kill them if they continue delaying after another 3 seconds. Looking at another CT is not KOS unless they try to kill that guard.

Answered by Star. You can hold a nade out for as long as you want unless a CT orders you to throw it away.
