This isn't about going around in public or to a church and cussing people out. We're talking about a casual game environment with friends; it's apples to oranges.

This notion is fucking absurd. I'm not a mind reader and I cannot tell if something offends you if you don't make it obvious. I've made it explicitly clear with my methods of poking fun that if something genuinely offends or bothers someone they need to be an adult and say it outright and I'll cut the shit no questions ask. This method has blown up in my face when people look at things I say or do and make assumptions instead of coming to me and actually talking about it. Those people are quite like you who actually think someone is racist/bigoted/transphobic/homophobic because of a few one-liners or jokes in poor taste. This is not an uncommon set of personal guidelines for most people here, so to pretend like people wouldn't stop when you ask or to pretend like higher-ups don't give a shit when harassment is brought to their attention is straight up wrong. The burden to bear when the offender is not aware is for the offended.

You'd think someone like you who's played video games for years would understand that people are edgy just for the sake of being edgy and not attempting to actually put their "homophobic/transphobic" views on a pedestal. I can't name a single person I'm familiar with here that I'd actually consider racist/homophobic/bigoted/transphobic etc. Reality is that people make jokes of poor taste and do ludicrous shit online to get attention and reactions and because it's easier to do this to a screen than to a crowd of people or to someone's face. There's definitely a line that's crossed weekly by a staff member or regular, but letting that shit get to you (Online of all places) is giving those people power that you so desperately want them to not have. To pretend like homophobia/bigotry is not taken as harassment here is absolute horseshit. All harassment here is taken seriously and I believe even goes overboard sometimes, but it's much better safe than sorry. I know it's poetic coming from someone who consistently uses edge to get a laugh out of people, but to suggest that the logo be changed because you feel that people aren't offended enough by the constant edge of a shooting game community is beyond me. Edit: I'd also like to add the charity thing might be the most disgusting thing you've ever said. We've had like 4 charities, as BoM said, 2 for a deceased legend in the community. So because we haven't have a charity for impoverished children in Ethiopia, that means we don't care about them? Fuck off.

There is nothing in Jailbreak that feels more rewarding than slaughtering a group of CT's with a jihad. The problem is that the opportunities aren't as numerable as I wish they were, and getting one is a bizarre mess. The way you get a jihad now is to buy one at the start of the round by pressing "1" when the orange menu comes up (for some reason, I assume reasons out of the server's control, the menu takes like 10 seconds to actually show up but you can also buy one before the menu even shows up) and to wait like 4-6 rounds until you have 10k. Why the jihad uses money, something that's used literally no where else for T's, is beyond me. This feels like an alpha test rather than a fully realized and finished system. T's don't have Jihad access for usually half a map which doesn't make sense in the current state right now. Rather than making it a button mashing contest on the first round every T has 10k, I was hoping it could be reworked into giving the two jihads to the highest fragging T's of the previous round (no Jihads given on the first round). I think more systems that reward T's who progress the gamemode is a good way of keeping things interesting. Personally, I'd also like the range and damage increased but in all fairness that would throttle the balance which I feel is almost perfect after the health boost removal and health shot buff. What do you guys think?

Good ideas, but I don't like these ideas. Maybe once my RDM event is accepted we can talk about actually fun events.

I don't entirely disagree, but I feel like you're in the minority when it comes to regulars who started years ago liking the newer people. Personally, I can't fucking stand 90% of the regulars who've joined in the past year or so. It's just personal opinion but I feel like the majority of regulars from a few years ago generally agree with me on that. Most are just straight up rule nazis who go on power trips because they're insecure, or those who just talk too much and don't know when to shut the fuck up. Shit happens, people move on, things change, it's just the way things go. But I miss the unspoken heroes who made JB a fun place with reliable regulars who kept the server alive and set the vibe properly. @JuantumConfirm @Tagwrack @burnttoenailsetc. etc. etc.
