  1. Lmfao. 10/10 i cri evry tim
  2. We switched dedi's, cut some other costs in other areas.
  3. We will discuss package deals at the CA+ meeting tomorrow.
  4. Extra cheese 6 cheese blend with pepperoni, sausage, ham, extra bacon, meat, extra bacon again.
  5. Snorlax literally gives zero fucks about where he is or what he's doing. Oh, he's sleeping in your way? Too fucking bad, you have to gO ON AN ENTIRE FUCKING GODDAMN QUEST TO FIND A MYSTICAL ITEM JUST TO MOVE HIS ASS. I would reiterate my question of, "Then how are they going to get Supporter?". The original argument was that Supporter shouldn't be taken away or diminished because not everyone can convince someone to donate $5 a month for perks. If you can't get $5 you aren't getting $20, so the argument is rather invalid and contradicts itself a bit.
  6. That's fucking stupid. I would never wear that tie.
  7. They already lost reserved slot.
  8. Supporter gets 1 skin per team when they're added and a bit of perks over regular players like 1-2 chat colors, name color in TTT, small other perks in DarkRP. This seems kind of decent in terms of perks you keep permanently and they never go away. It's not meant to be something you strive to achieve, it's now meant to just recognize those who have donated quite a bit over their time here at SG. I'm confused by your comment about 13 year olds who don't have PayPal or a credit card, because you need to donate $20 to get Supporter in the first place? The only thing we're moving away from is giving good perks permanently to a rank that never goes away after you donate a rather miniscule amount in the grand scheme of things. Instead they now just get kinda decent perks permanently while those who choose to donate every month will be rewarded substantially more for their continued commitment and support for our community. Instead of donating once for $20 and basically having everything they care about and it never goes away.
  9. It is a good idea, just not viable considering there is no way of automating it and is entirely reliant on Caution or one of us BDs to verify the payment reoccurred when it should and then manually give you Subscriber again.
  10. This would currently have to be done manually and that is not something we want to do, until we can get DragonByte to modify the plugin for this scenario, we don't want to implement this.
  11. Hello everyone! So in an effort to remain as transparent as we can with you guys, we updated the community monthly goals to reflect our current needs. This is not the exact costs, we put in a bit of room for profits as well to provide for giveaways/improvements to plugins and various other things. The new goal is: $175, a little more than half what we used to require (Previous goal offered little room for profits as well). We will be updating our Donate page to show exactly what we pay for monthly and where your money is going to help us out, for now I will give a quick rundown of our costs so you guys can see them upfront: Note: Keep in mind these are monthly costs -New fastdl $7.99 -Database hosting $9.99 -6core VPS $74.99 -Extra 2gb RAM $10 -Teamspeak $100.00 per year (/12 = $8.33333333 per month) -Our original IP's $12 Total Cost per Month: $123.3033333~ (x1.5 for 1/2 in profits: $184.95499999995) We discussed a bit yesterday at the meeting it should be more in profits ($175 or just under 1/2 monthly costs in profits, 141.93% our costs to be exact) to cover all the giveaways and improvements we'd like to do for the community. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT REOCCURRING SUBSCRIBERS DO NOT SHOW UP ON THE GOAL METER (This is being worked on) @TheVirus Due to the amazing support of all our Subscribers, we are making roughly $165 a month from them alone, this is nearly 95% of our monthly goal. ============================================= This being said, our Supporter rank is being changed to be more about recognizing those who have donated a substantial amount to the community. It is also losing its Reserved Slot for life perk, this perk is instead going to be given to Subscribers and SA+ ranks. Supporter more than likely will change to be some kind of award given to those who donate a large amount towards the community. I currently have a ribbon as an example of an award that may be given out for accumulating a large amount of donations. The exact amount required to get Supporter is yet to be decided, but we are currently thinking $50-$100 or higher. All current Supporters will keep their rank. Rather than try to explain all the possible angles to why we're changing Supporter, I will be answering any questions you guys have about why we're doing it in more detail if anyone would like more details.
  12. I am uploading a recording now. I will edit this post when it's processed and available. If I get time I will create some bulletpoints of what was discussed, or if someone else would like to that would be greatly appreciated. I will keep in mind for future meetings to jot down notes of what gets discussed or ask someone else to since I end up talking a lot. Edit: Rl5WOVcPWGY
  13. Really sorry about this, but I just got informed my work schedule will have me working on Saturdays, so I changed the date to Sunday to ensure I can be there. If any BD is willing to take over the meeting for me then it can go back to being on Saturday, but I will be unable to be there and usually I am the driving force behind the meeting so I switched it to Sunday for now.
  14. Updated some of the agenda stuff. Nah, our Community-wide meetings last roughly same as CA meetings, sometimes shorter. Usually we get the stuff on agenda discussed and out of the way, then we tell people they're welcome to stay and listen to questions but not necessary.
  15. Hello everyone, The community-wide meeting should have been this weekend, but I got unexpectedly swamped and totally forgot to make a thread addressing it. To try and make sure everyone has a fair notice about it, we'll be moving it to next weekend. The meeting will be Sunday, March 1st, at 4 PM EST/3PM CST/1PM PST/10PM CET/9PM GMT (CA+ edit this with other timezones as necessary) Point of the community-wide meeting you ask? To address issues and fill the community in on what we got planned as Staff (CA+) and make sure everyone's in the loop that is interested in it. It also gives everyone a chance to ask questions and get answers from SG Staff! Be sure to be there if you are interested in seeing what's coming, happening, or if you'd like to alert us to any issues we may not be aware of! The whole point of it is to get the general public involved with our Staff and connect with our foundation of the community, regulars, supporters, and Subscribers alike! We encourage people to post in this thread with things they'd like to see discussed at this meeting and we'll try to cover them as fast as possible before going into community questions. Will update below this line with things on the agenda to talk about ================================================== -Slight Subscriber/Supporter change. -ZE crashes and potential causes/fixes. -Events
  16. I'm not too sure. I would imagine, yes. However I'm not sure how much time it would take to sort out.
  17. Both good ideas. We have some pressing matters to deal with right now at higher ranks, but events like these will be brought up at the next community meeting. (Saturday, Feb 21st) I'll be sure to note it down to talk about.
  18. I like this idea. Would be incentive for people to generate some unique content for us. Alternatively we could always offer some kind of unique perk for people who create custom content for us. [Developer] or [Mapper] tags in the servers, that kind of thing. Its an idea to build on, as far as an event I think we should see if we can get some interest in a competition-type event. Prizes can be discussed and I'll try to get back to this thread with an idea for some prizes. Obvious ones being money of some sort, perhaps others can be thought of?
  19. @Zaraki I believe PayPal wallet will be able to Subscribe now. PayPal business should be able to accept all forms of payment, so we will work on expanding our acceptable payment methods shortly. It may not happen until next week though.
  20. The amount of people who are constantly all over my dick. Like fuck, I just want to play video games, not get a blowjob from like 9 females and 20+ guys. Comeon.
  21. Can be considered. We want to condense the forum subcategories. An idea would be to condense then have CSGO and CSGO Competitive. We'll see though.
  22. Some of those chat tabs are not enabled, but basically, the base chat tab ('Shoutbox') is position 1. Those other chat tabs you can re-order given the number you wish them to be in. However, since the others are not enabled, there's no real point to them. Edit: Good job putting tag notifications to use! I honestly probably would not have seen this thread for another day or two otherwise. Haha.
  23. @Extreme Potatoes oiajwef Was testing users with spaces and it seems to work.
  24. Hello Everyone! We're happy to announce the return of DarkRP, fixed and working fully! Everyone's money should remain what it was before. If you notice any bugs or issues, please post them in the DarkRP forum! In addition to this, we're announcing some new forum plugins we've enabled! We have gotten a new chatbox (Called a shoutbox but it's whatever) and also enabled a few new features! You can use /ignore to ignore other users, this is intended to help two people who don't get along, to get along while in the chatbox. Also the return of /me! You can now notify/tag users in posts and threads! To do so simply type @theirnamehere an example is @XeNo will send me a notification and tag me in that thread. There's a max number of tags you can do in one post, so please do not spam this feature. The other feature is thread tags through use of hashtags! To do so just put #hashtagnamehere and it will tag that post/thread. You can also click on a hashtag to get a link to all the other posts/threads with that tag! User mentions are being monitored and in the future we may have awards for being the some of the most mentioned users. Enjoy! Huge thanks to Revenga for setting it all up for us!
