In soccer a lot of blame is put on the goalie, but that is misplaced, it really takes good D to stop them from scoring, the Defense should be stopping crosses and saving goals more often than the goalie. Usually if I know two people are good at D, I'll put one of the worst players on the team in goal, me and the other D, two good offense people will be wings cause really you just need wings to score, and whoever is left is center just to drop back and play D or to get passes to wingers from mid-field.

Source soccer's been around for a few years, so yeah they put a lot of time into it. Getting the ball in the air and 180's are not all that hard to learn how to do, just need to learn how to time it and where to hit on the ball.
