I love my AP Barrichello in Titanium 44mm watch! ($55,000 won from CS:GO Gambling). The watch is great at telling time but I wish the manufacturers made a bigger size wrist strap because it honestly is getting too tight. These types of events are really needed right now and I remember that they did help quite a bit. I really wish it was continued.

The servers are a wasteland right now. Unless a SM+ were to announce that one of the game servers is going to be seeding, who gets on anymore to wait alone until users finally join? It’s a boring task that should be appreciated. That’s where this month long event could help. Users would be able rack up points for the month by spending time in specific servers with a member count below 5/10. Every few minutes the members that are on the game server would earn points and by the end of the month could earn some sort of prize. Whether it be a supporter role or cash. This event wouldn’t really be applicable for some of the servers and would have to be monitored to prevent afk point farming but if people need that little push to have an incentive to seeding then I think this event will help a lot!

Cliques are something that always happen in gaming communities and it’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s what I think gaming communities are literally meant for, to enjoy a game and find friends from that community and eventually form an online friend group. We’ve seen from the last JB event that there are people that play the servers but just no one who wants to join in first and try and seed it. This was Strayyz’s idea and I’m just repeating it here because I think it could work, but why try and focus on all the servers in SG instead of just one for a bit and increase the server pop in that one server?

I’m not trying to play “semantic” games with you. Hell, I haven’t even heard the word before. I’m just pointing out what I see as unfair and voice my opinion.

But was any action against those before he left? I wasn’t here so I genuinely have no clue what happened. It just seems silly to punish members after it happened and not while it’s happening

But isn’t this Banana Joe guy not even in the discord? If he were in the discord and was constantly getting pinged then it would be a problem that would have to be addressed

I believe what Duffy is talking about is what happened last night over using the name “Banana Joe” in discord chat. One member said the name after a message was sent saying that the word is now a banned term. I don’t think anyone believed it was a serious change and the member who said it got a day long mute. After being on a break for a year, I have no idea who this Banana Joe guy is and what he did to cause such a commotion over his name being said. From the perspective of a new user, seeing the toxic relationship between the regulars and staff wouldn’t make me want to join in and talk in the discord chats. I really believe that the situation was super dumb to be arguing over and I do agree with Duffy that these situations are making SG a less welcoming atmosphere to new members.

I really like this idea, it could either be used as a normal survival with the goal to defeat the ender dragon with some more difficulty or as a stream where we switch places while trying to kill the person that we switch places with. Whoever is last standing would be the winner

I don’t know if it’s known but shouldn’t there be a separate discord server specifically to stream the movies? It’s against discord tos to stream copyrighted content and I wouldn’t want my favorite discord server (Steam-Gamers) being taken down
