if your gonna wait for a price drop id get the new ati sicne the use a shit ton less power than the G200 or 4*** series cards idle 27 and load is like 130ish? my 4870x2 is like 100+idle and 280 load

G300 is the next nvidia series like GTX360 etc. its gonna be alot more expensive than the newer ati card which is 5XXX series like what your asking about once the G300 series comes out expect a nice price drop on ati cards. but if i had to say go with the 5770 or im selling my 4870x2 to try and get the new ati cards. 4870x2 has a a bit more or = power than a 5870 or two 5770's in crossfire ill sell you my 4870x2 for 300$ if you feel interested

your hardrive may not work with your new build if it has drivers for your old GPU etc etc when i tried putting my old hdd in my new computer it didnt work.

i have i think its like ati 1600x that was in my dell that is low profile and is a decent card since i can play crysis on low settings with it lol

Or you could get an 1100$ computer that will last longer than a 700 or 900$ build. with a better GPU now you wont have to upgrade next year for NEXT years games.

ive got 1100$ build in a newegg wishlist that i usually recommend to people with 1000+ budgets http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=11770472 its pretty much the same build i have but my PSU is 850watt my case is antec 1200 and my GPU is 4870x2 and i would also change the GPU to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102858 its at a 4890 because when i made that list the 5*** series wasnt out. If you want i can build and ship it to you depending on where you live.
