Tbh this is probably true to a certain point with obvious outliers. I’d like to bring up the counter point though that in this area of mass media and news, where scare tactics and horrible stories are how to get people watching I think someone who blindly follows this stuff and then not understand the concept around it and how there is much more to the world than the shock stories constantly running on the news would actually have a much worse world outlook. I say this yet I still think the opposite just off of personal experience. Visiting to the south is quite an interesting experience and while I don’t want to say much about the shit that went on there, I can say everyone did always seem way happier and way more welcoming lol.

What is said is true but you have only the part of the picture. The events team specifically has turned its focus more towards popular events and less towards server events. The part that maybe wasn’t made clear was that since CA+ can make events we ask them to be the ones who focus on server related events. Since 99% of the time a CA+ needs to be present anyway for a server event as well as given the current state of the events team in general, we find this will work out better for the team in terms of sustainability and the long term. This is just a quick summary with a lot of detail and such not included but hopefully that gives you a quick idea of what the state of the events team is. SG has not given up or taken away server focused events, we have just delegated events differently in order to improve sustainability.

What is your favorite coding language? It can even be stuff like whatever roblox uses or even scratch just what do you like using most? Mine is python for sure although I do have a soft spot for lua and java I am a python user tho just bc its my industry’s standard language and in my field its basically the only thing used for making scripts. my college got an airsoft team. I pay only a bit and get access to their whole arsenal and equipment, its pretty sick. I forgot how fun airsoft is until I got back into it. You should to get some games in sometime.

ima hit em with the reverse because tbh I can't remember much of what I did before hand. But what I did during lockdown that I don't really do that much anymore is dnd. I'm not much for dnd, I've played a few campaigns because friends have pulled me into them but the few times I did play during lockdown were enjoyable. It just kinda faded away mostly now though that everything is back into the swing of things.
