Big update: Windows Aero was causing the problems out of game/desktop and turning that off stopped of graphic and display issues. Also doing this lessened the issue of graphical and display issues in-game but still present. Gonna tweak Windows 7 so it uses much less background processes and 3D tasks. Hopefully this fixes it. Also underclocked my card. Seems to have helped.

Update: I installed through Windows 7 instead of the setup program and the yellow checkerboard pattern isn't that bad on my screen now but still present. Gonna eliminate variables like hard drive failing or such. Games work well but the yellow pattern is still there....someone got any advice on this? Note: Gonna do your post Lab Update: hard drive is fine and graphics card isn't overheating.

I have a Compal FL90 laptop that I bought from ibuypower.com over two years ago. Recently my gf fixed the laptop and got everything to work on it except the graphics driver. My graphics card is a GeForce 8600M GT 512MB and I am running Windows 7 32bit. None of the recommended Nvidia card drivers work. None of the drivers at ibuypower.com work. The VGA standard driver works but to play video games I need the Nvidia drivers. Installing the recommended drivers give me a yellow checker board pattern on my screen whether I was in-game or just at desktop. Please help, it would be useful that I can atleast play Minecraft on this laptop lol.

Two of my most vivid dreams I remember is one, I am standing in front of a mirror and my hair starts to fall out in clumps then once all the hair is gone my skin starts to peel off and then the bone crumbles and inside is just a liquid mush and it starts pouring out my ears and spilling off the sides. I try reaching inside for a brain but just a mush of brain matter is all I get. Second one is I am in some sort of jungle setting with little buildings and huts blown up and some on fire. I feel like I am in some sort of blood rage, I start shooting my M16 crazy like Rambo style and once I run outta ammo I go around with my knife killing people. During that process my knife breaks and I start killing people with my just my hands alone. The people I see are just random, some black some white some Asian, some I know some I don't. Then I remember an explosion and then waking up.

What do you dreams consist of? I feel like I have the weirdest dreams. I saw on Netflix a PBS show on dreams but I still feel kinda confused about some of them and why they occur. Why do they repeat, why are some so absurd? I have had a lot of dreams throughout my life. Some of them I can control the outcome or physics of the dream. Some are disturbing. Some sexual. Its weird I can remember more dreams from when I was a child then actual memories which is sometimes confusing because some of my dreams back then were life like. I have dreams (or memories) of me watching thunderstorms and hurricanes. I had a nightmare within a nightmare once.
