The same happened to me when i went to the PB Uprising, i didn't try to go to any other server but it wouldn't allow me to get skins on the PB Uprising. =(
That first button was for me kinda funny because my brother was next to me when i was going through it, but the 2nd one it really did nothing. shame, shame, haha =)
