First, I would like to acknowledge that in recent months the channel of communication within this community has slipped and the Board takes responsibility for this. We plan to correct this with our new "Advisers Agenda Program." The Advisers Agenda Program This program is designed to improve communications between the players and the Staff that runs SteamGamers. If successfully implemented it will help the Board of Directors keep informed of important issues and make sure that all proposals/suggestions are seen through to an end result. Here are the changes that make up the AAP: 1) Community Advisers will meet weekly to discuss hot topics, proposals, admin applications and discuss the progress of prior items still pending. The CA's will take that information and make a Weekly Agenda for the Board of Directors. 2) The Board of directors will meet every Sunday to review and discuss this Agenda, implement approved proposals and update the status of pending items. 3) The Board will frequently post updates to the community informing them of what is being worked on, voted on, and implemented. I know these are only a few changes but I feel they are a step in the right direction. For this to work we need the support of all current staff and need you, the players, to feel free to express your wants/ideas for the future of this great community.

Thank you for answering this for me Jager. Most of Jagers figures are close but he is a little on the high end and I no longer pay ServerSpy.net as they ripped me off and the site is abandoned. I don't like to toss figures around as they change all the time and to be honest this is not something I feel needs to be public record. If you are someone who thinks I am miss managing this community then simply do not support it. Just know that when I put up a goal it is what I needed to keep the place running. If the community begins to miss the goals I will have to make cutbacks. You have seen over past months that the goal changes based on over donations from previous months or when various expenses arise. That will continue to be common place for months to come. If the goal is ever higher then $700 I will explain to the community what we have purchased or plan to purchase that has made the goal go up. I have been honest in the past when directly asked if I use any of the money for myself. I do use a small portion of the community funds for PC related items when needed. In the last year I replaced my power supply, purchased a Hard-drive, and recently got a new mouse. My gaming PC/Equipment is directly related to my ability to enjoy and run this community so I feel it necessary. I commonly purchase games we intend to host or test with community funds. That is a perk of having created this place and keeping it running. Call it my consulting fee and right as the owner. I would say that 96-97% of all donations go directly back into keeping the community running. Also keep in mind that Paypal is a greedy bitch. I lose about 5% of donations back to fees. If the goal is 600 I am really only collecting ~$570.00.

I would like to keep the ranks on for a few reasons: (1) It does keep some players coming back (2) Our stats program has a chat logger which means we can see anything typed in our servers (3) The stats program also has a admin logger which shows me every admin command ran on my servers If the stats are not giving points correctly tell me what to change. Shit it could be as simple as you get 5 points for your team winning and 1 points for any "other team kill"

Post all the 100% legit emails you get in your spam filter.

Those are "team points" not just for you. I can remove them but since you blew up players on the other team everyone on your team benefited. FYI: you also do not lose any points for suicide.

I hate ratemap and didn't realize it was still running on any of the servers. We can probably find a better way to keep track of maps. I stopped using ratemap after failing to get the web piece of that plug in to work correctly. If I can come up with a way to have forum users rate maps I will do that instead of using the ingame plugin (that is only running because I forgot to remove it). Any suggestions oh how to manage map rating on the forum let me know...

I would like to thank everyone who donated in the month of February. Your donations made it possible for me to purchase (2) new dedicated server this month. One of the new dedicated server is dedicated to hosting Bad Company 2 coming out on the 2nd of March and the other dedi as you all know is hosting our GMOD, Reg, and Deathrun servers and still has room to grow. If we intend to keep all three of our Dedicated servers and keep all other hosting services we will have to keep our goal around $700.00 to $800.00 a month. Over the next few hours I will be changing the mod that functions to give all supporters and admins reserved slots. I have done some preliminary testing and I don't think any of you will see any difference. You will still connect to your reserved slot through IP but it will be managed differently which will make setting up new users much easier for us. Let me know if you have any problems or your Reserved slot is not functioning. Thanks, Haggard
