I would love to ban random people based on a no-evidence backed claim. Then we truly can become a broken and corrupt justice system on par with Best Korea or a american court system. That and i get to ban the majority of the PB population.

Arma 3 is extremely proccessor hungry, so this could very well be the issue. I won't start naming every single thing you can do to get more stable FPS, but a quick google search yields best results. Highly recommend it for everyone who owns Arma 3, considering 80% of the fixes you wont notice ingame and yet raise the FPS.

It depends on what and how you go into the game. Singleplayer and official Multiplayer arma missions are pretty FPS friendly and stable. You go on user made missions and any server, you going to have a bad FPS, cause of scripts running, players, objects in the world and server performance. Sadly Arma also loves to chokepoint on your CPU instead of spreading the load out and focusing more on the GPU. But if you stick around and apply some FPS fixes that certainly will help get 10-20 FPS more, You'll have one hell of a game.

Presuming you are going full realism and using the Advanced Flight Model and First Person lock. - Never enable Free-Lock Camera Lock, awareness is one of the most important things when flying planes or helicopters but if you are new, lack experiences of using keyboard and mouse, i sugges you avoid always on free look and keep it on a nearby key for instant acess, to allow the mouse for flying purpose. - Wind is your worst enemy. it hides when you expect it and hits you hard when you least expect it. If you are flying close to hills or mountain slopes. Keep a safety distance from nearest object and prepare to make emergency measures. The wind in this game is hard to learn. It can change based on mission setting, time or position. But once you flown enough, you know when to expect it and how to position yourself for it. - Depending on mission difficulty, you find that more and more HUD information starts to go away (Crosshair, Attitude meter, speedometer) Sit down in both the pilot seat and the co-pilot seat, then learn to read the helicopters instrument board (The actual instrument board, not the game HUD) It's important to know where each module is to ensure you spend the least amount of time looking for information and more time on awareness outside helicopter. I could write a 500 page book about this, but i try and get a Arma guide up for stuff like this. - Expect bullets and missils to go a bit under your crosshair. The longer the distance, the more you gotta aim under crosshair. (Also understand that some ammunition has a effective range, so dont expect to be snipping targets from 5 kilometers in a little bird outfitted with miniguns) - Planes and helicopter are fragile in regards to the modern worlds ammunition. Just because you are in a plane 2 Kilometers from target, don't mean they can't also bring you down if they have the right equipment (AAA, Anti Air Missils) - Not sure if the AFM calculates weight like the mod i play with with does, but a good advice is to learn your load. The heavier the load, the more careful you have to be. (Carrying infantry, tanks, ammunition crates and trucks) It also helps you find out how rough you can allow your flying to be. - Learn to land fast and safely, and then get off the ground faster then you landed on it. - Remember! Don't matter if someone is a captain, a rambo or a friend. You are the pilot, you control the aircraft and you make the decisions. Just because someone thinks a place is good for landing, don't mean it is. You make the decision cause it's your job to ensure everyones safety. I am currently writing a guide for Arma 3 with all this information at some point. If anyone feels i wrote bad information, please feel free to correct me.

I really don't see the problem with it. The helmet Kevlar combo allows those not fortunate enough to have a microphone to be given a safety line for when they need to stop and type. So those without microphones isn't that severely at disadvantage from a microphone talking player. (Cause lets be honest, when there isnt a 5 year old banshee destroying my already tinnitus ridden ears, CT side does end up being undermanned sometimes) It requires a T to use his brain and possible coordinate with teammates before he pulls a firearm out and engage in a firefight. instead of one tapping that poor kid who was typing orders or that talking CT who didn't want to unload a entire 5.56mm/7.62mm into a crowd of somalian prisoneers. Majority of maps allow you acess to high penetration weapons, like deagles and scouts to counter kevlars. The cell pistols just allows you some early firepower if the chance appears. It puts more pressure on the whole assymmetrical gamemode. You are suppose to be at disadvantage and make due with what you have and how the situation unfolds. Once you learn how to pick the right timing and place, a kevlar helmet means very little unless you are digging a basement for the silver 1. It requires you to coordinate with teammates most of time. Which can be pretty hard when your teammates most of times can be compared to lobotomized patients with down syndrome and cerebral palsy. (God bless Prison break) Majority of Prison break players are in such a special silver tier, valve decided to make the specials tournament to give them a chance. Don't blame the game cause you decided to go full detroit side grip mofo on that CT watching you with a Kalashnikov, just praying you do something stupid. It gives a little bit advantage forward a skilled CT player i can agree. But that just means you require a arabian spring of fellow rebellers to assist you. But if that isn't enough to kill that CT, then you sure as fuck didn't have a higher chance with him leaving the Kevlar set at home and going to work in his undies. :adog::adog::adog:

I would say it's an "Pressure/Normal" thing. Most of the old boys from my unit smokes cause it helps take off that edge or simply because their elders did it. Same thing happened with a friend of mine, was stressed and tried a cigarette to calm himself. Told me he only smoked rarely, which then became uncommon then common then a lot. Thankfully he is to piss poor to afford smoking daily so he had to stop. I myself cant stand it for the life of me. Tried smoking 2 times in my life, once when i was 12 and my dad fucked around with me, and when i was offered a smoke during a field exercise. happy that both these times, i almost choked on that piss taste, and never tried it again. I don't really care if people smoke or not, as long as it's done respectably near others (Not smoking in others faces or rooms where the smoke ends up harming you to/annoying you) Like Eskimo says, it ain't any different from getting piss drunk or sitting on your ass whole day playing video games. And as long as it's not a annoyance/dangers to others, then you should mind your own business.

Well since this thing exist, i will try ask for some advice's. Some time ago i started a gym membership and for the first month it went decent. Then i stopped coming more and more til the point of entirely giving it up. One of the reasons i disliked the gym is because the local gym is extremely small and lacks any kind of proper air condition. So 8/10 gym visit feel like trying to work out in a sauna and with a bunch of people sweating and working out. always ended up smelling like a Cambodian genocide pit. The other thing that turns me off, was the lack of any idea what i was doing. The other people had their routines and goals "do 3 sets ala 12 times of dick lift and truck pulling" While mine was "i think i try this out til i am tired, or maybe that". So basically, what motivates you guys to attend it? I tried forcing into my mind that i HAD to do it, but with little effect. And where does one get a fitness plan of sort? Would be a lot better to strive/have a routine then randomly pick machines based on what i want to work out.

Surprisingly, i thought i would grow wings out of my ass and fly into the sun before i ever enjoy playing DayZ again. But i'll admit i had tons of fun playing this. Was travelling to Zelenogorsk with a fellow bambi, when 7 guys came out of nowhere with M4's. Expecting them to murder us horribly for no reason, they asked if we wanted to join their "Town" Basically these 7 guys were part of a 10-14 man group who had a base in Zelenogorsk taking in new players and the like. Was weird and amazing to see how they had guard post around the center of Zelenogorsk. They would send groups out to collect weapons and gear from the nearby military camp, while the others protected their huge food stash. So instead of server hopping to get gear, kill bambi's and other players just for the sake of pvp. They actually started a huge group and made a "functioning town" which to say, had me regain hope in DayZ again! Got some cool stuff from them. Fucking M4 with bipod! BIPOD! If i ever find them again, i will take pictures of it for sure.

Smart of them to put this out now and not when Simcity came out. Could you imagine the economy drop then. But i be honest. We had a Wasteland server for arma 2, which i remember went really good til people grew tired of it, still after that it had some activity. A server for Arma 3 would be a good way to bring in a lot of new people.

No sure if you just counter talked yourself, but that idea would only make it even worse for a lower levels But i guess if you were a low level, then you would be at disadvantage at begin with. I do still think the three best champions sounds like a rather...would not say bad idea, just not helpful unless for bragging rights which also means you brag about how to counter you. (Unless you are one tough ass Janna AD Carry or ScubaToaster) Would just be a lot easier if people said they join, and then maybe their name in the thread. (To save your inbox, and makes it easier to see who plays) In my opinion.

I would not force people to pick "Three best champions" since others will just counter pick you or pick a champion that is good/decent against any of the champions listed. Unless the 3 best is a secret to others, otherwise it end up as good as first picking Katarina in ranked.
