Hi everyone, Let me kick this off by saying that I’m creating this thread on my phone - so you’re not getting fancy colors or rank descriptions. You guys can click on the members tab if you don’t already know. One of the people being promoted is color blind anyways, so just don’t tell him I didn’t color his name - he’ll have no idea. First is Nick to CA! Nick has been around awhile previously as a CA, has a level head, and isn’t afraid to eat ass - which made it a clear choice. Next is going to be Roux to IA! We felt sort of obligated because it’s the only color rank he can actually see. I’m addition to that, he’s put in a lot of hard work throughout the various ranks he holds. Moving on up is Erik to AM! He has dedicated some serious hours to helping this place out through multiple different means, has been here forever, and plays a lot of Payday 2 with caution. Before we get to the last promotion, we have someone stepping down. Liam Brown is going to be stepping away from BD, and moving on over to TM to co-manage it with Nishok. I’ve enjoyed working with you as a BD, and look forward to continuing to work with you as full time tech-support. Finally, we are promoting Dominic to BD. Dominic is typically on that goo goo gah gah baby bullshit, but sometimes has decent ideas and can contribute. In all seriousness, Dominic is (sometimes annoyingly) persistent with pushing the community forward, so I have no doubt that he’ll do great things as a BD. Congrats to all of you, and thanks Liam for all your hard work as a BD!

I just got the Flag Raising on Iwo Jima a few weeks ago on my outer bicep. I think I’m doing the first paragraph of the Marine Hymn next on my inner bicep.

We mostly played N64...but we played PC a bit too. I was 5-7 or something like that, and there's a couple that blur together - but they were mostly LAN games that I played with my brother's, like Wolfenstein, Age of Empires (1 & 2), Empire Earth, and Age of Mythology. A couple games that weren't LAN that we played were Doom, Oregon Trail, Pajama Sam, Putt Putt Saves the Zoo, Hexen, Vampire: The Masquerade, and some other games that were around 95-98'' or so. We also played an MMO called Dark Age of Camelot, which I doubt any of you have heard of or played. It was a super fun fucking game, and was the only MMO I've ever played for longer than like three months (I get bored of most of them super quick, and I've played a good amount of them).

That can actually be counter productive. If something is stuck onto the bottom of the pan, turning the heat up on it can just cause it to burn itself further onto the bottom. I wouldn't use that on that type of pot, you'll end up scratching it (unless it's mild steel wool). If it's actual 'gunk' that you can physically feel when you rub your fingers across it, and it isn't going away after all that work - throw it away. If it's just a stain, then buy barkeeper's friend or All Clad's cleaner and try using those. Both are amazing and all I use to polish (I prefer All Clad's for cleaning cookware, but BF is a cleaner for other stuff as well).

I don’t really like Mosins. I think they’re good for what they’re made for - ‘hey Johnny here you go, shoot in that direction’ without it breaking...but they’re not good snipers, suppressing, close quarters, etc. i never really got the Mosin hype tbh, the M1’s and Mausers were just such superior weapons imo. I’d pay...maybe $300 for a mosin, but i doubt much more than that. I’d definitely rather have an SKS over a Mosin, but even then i wouldn’t pay a whole lot for an sks

It looks nice because the previous owner (for some reason) replaced the original stock. I have no idea why you would do that to a WW2 rifle, but it subsequently extremely dropped the value. Doesn’t really bother me, because I’m not going for extreme, collector-style rifles. I haven’t shot it yet, thinking this weekend. The bolt is being a pain in the dick, so i need to see if i can fix it myself or need to take it to an armorer.

There is absolutely no reason why doing Insanity or one of those other workouts that stress 'go at your own pace and rest as needed' should do that to you. That's not heavy weight lifting to the point where you should be getting sick. There is a complete difference between being exhausted vs. getting sick after intense workouts every time. You should see a doctor immediately, and not ask for advice on an internet video gaming forum when it comes to your health to this extent. I'm going to close this for liability reasons, because I think you might actually have something wrong with you that requires medical attention. Once again - I'd advise you to stop doing what makes you 'sick' immediately and seek a doctor.

Just going to play Devil's advocate here for a second and ask something: Who are you to say what makes a CT's job harder to keep track of them? You continue in the thread about being against CT discretion - how can you possibly say what makes mine, Frank's, Steve's, etc., job harder as a CT? Even in something as petty as a cell hop - that makes it harder to keep track of them because they could be in either cell. It's a minor scale when compared to the rest of a normal sized map, but the concept remains the same. Was going to quote like 3 other people, but everyone else already said my thoughts - extremely petty and small to start micromanaging and creating rules over every single vent that might possibly be deemed as something kill worthy or not. That will create mass confusion and now requires a whole new list of things for people to memorize in their head: which vents in each and every map are KOS and which are not. PB is already extremely, extremely T-sided over the last 7-8 years with all the map changes and additions to secrets, which are astronomical compared to what they used to be. T's be getting guns that don't even exist in the rest of CSGO lol. Any rule or server change that makes a CT's job harder is going to be met with extreme criticism by me typically. The fact that CT's only win 32% of the time according to stat tracker should be an obvious indicator that it's slightly T-sided as is. I'm not saying it should be 50/50, because there are going to be T's that don't rebel and whatnot, but 32% should trigger an evaluation of what's going on, such as the recent armor addition to CT's. When I managed PB, CT's had increased armor as well. People will always bitch and complain whenever advantages are added to CT though. Anyways, I digress. I don't support a rule change of anything of the sort referencing this thread. Leave it as is. This is just my opinion, and the managers of PB will come out with a definitive answer shortly, I'd imagine. yee
