I used Vista on my friend's new PC and it just felt too bloated and a little slow and somewhat more convoluted to access stuff compared to XP. The only thing I want that Vista has is DirectX10. I installed XP on my new PC that I put together last month. Almost went with Vista, but I'm glad I stuck with XP. Especially considering the 3GB ram limit on 32 bit systems, and the fact that Vista takes about a gig to run on its own. With XP it only uses 300-400 mb leaving a lot more of my ram free for other stuff than Vista would.

Amen to that. Unfortunately it's also what's keeping me from going to grad school. Working 11-6 and not having tests/exams/papers is so much lazier than school. Granted I do want the pay increase that comes with another degree. Damn you lazy gods.

I remember playing this when it was a beta back in 2000/2001. Then as soon as they started charging for it 80% of the player base evaporated, including myself.

Or check out the case I'm using for my new pc. It only cost 54 bucks and it has uber fans, nice mesh metal front for good air circulation and nice screw-less drive bays too. I played this mod a couple years ago. Might have had a different name then, can't remember. It was actually fun, totally forgot about it. I'll download it again today.

I don't know about that. Even though our space program isn't as good as the British, I think it'll do okay, the two other rovers have been operating long past their planned lifespans.

Yeah, I needed my computer to be eye level so I used my GF's gigantor Harry Potter books. Yes Niko that one-up shroom is my GF's piggy bank and it's awesome. And fuck yes I mix Ketchup with Tabasco.

The ones I use most are in the quick launch. Everything else I go through the start menu. I don't like having a cluttered desktop.
