Well there is nothing wrong with believing certain theories may be wrong. Although if something can be proven somehow like how old the earth may be, then its hard for me to discuss something to someone who still thinks its a theory when it can be proven by tools of the modern age. Although you could say the tools could be wrong, but thats highly unlikely but possible.

Well most holy books give guidelines on how to live your life and to give examples of god touching mens lives. Although some may laugh at any holy book, if you havent read any of them then you cant really make a clear judgement on their contents. Ive read most of the bible (old and new) and some of the Koran so I can see why people like to twist things to their own agenda or teachings. Karl Marx was a german philosopher, political economist, historian, political theorist, sociologist, communist, and revolutionary, who's ideas played a significant role in the development of modern communism and socialism. I wouldnt put Karl Marx and Jesus (Or muhammad, Moses, ect.) in the same boat since Karl Marx himself would laugh at you for suggesting him being in that position.

Im not christian :S I think all so called Holy books are fairy tales or exaggerated stories since they were written by men to herd the sheep. But just because I think this, doesnt mean people lose any kind of thinking or logic in believing something higher themselves aslong as they know when to think for themselves. Where a lot of people do get lost in religion where others can sit back and laugh at them. Comparing Karl Marx to a religious book is just silly to begin with though. lol
