My team and Muffin's team managed to get an unscheduled match in just now, with 15-10 being the final score. GG guys =)

Well yeah, primarily we are supposed to talk to the other captain at any time we want and decide on a scheduled time for the match. Whenever a match gets scheduled Labarr or I will make a post detailing it, and the match will be played at that time. At the time of the match, if needed, you can play 3v3 or even 4v3 and still have a decent chance at winning.

The tournament will be played on the soccer server, at 74.91.116.99:27015 Follow it here: http://challonge.com/SGSoccer It will be run similar to how the SGSL 3v3 tournament was. The captains will get in touch with either Labarr or myself about when their match will be, and a thread will be created in the soccer subforum for reference. After the match, any player/referee will have to post in it the score and winner. Every team has at least one admin who can start the match. To start it, go under "Match" by using !menu. Then press "Start" and it should be good to go. I can also give each captain the ability to start the match if necessary. Rules Played on nassa_indoor_v2 The match will consist of (2) 10 minute halves, with a 30 second halftime. Obviously, the team with the highest score at the end wins. The teams will be 4v4. Subs can come in at anytime, but it would be best to wait until someone scores or at halftime. The lower seed (team with the higher team #) gets first half kickoff, and the ball must be passed behind the half field line. The other team gets the second half kickoff. Stay on your side of field during kickoffs. The server will be passworded at the time of every match, the password will be "soccer". After a goal, the team who was scored on gets to start with the ball. If necessary, you can play with 3 people. If you cannot field 3 then it is a forfeit. We don't want this tournament to take ages to finish, so please try to schedule the matches as efficiently as possible. It would be best to get the captains settled as soon as possible. We decided to have 8 set captains and then randomize the remaining 32 players onto the teams. The captains will have to get in touch with their team and their opponent and schedule the matches. So far Labarr and I are captains, anyone want to volunteer to be one? Need 6 more. ^Nevermind. Also, the 40th spot was taken by Nuclear Onion.

Last day to sign up! Need 2 more people to have a full 8 team tourney. And to avoid a one month long draft and get this going as soon as possible, teams probably will be randomized.

As mentioned before, Labarr and I will be hosting a small tourney on the soccer server. Simply vote in either options of the poll if you would like to participate. To play you will need to be reg+, but there may be some exceptions for some of the server regs. It will be a 4v4 tourney, with either 5 or 6 players per team. Hopefully enough people will sign up for a decently sized tourney, will need at least 30 people. Would probably be best to have the best players be captains, then doing a draft from there. If we do it this way, Labarr and I would probably need to pick the captains ourselves, unless anyone would like to volunteer. It may take a while to do, but the teams would be balanced for the most part. We could either do that, or just randomize it all. What do you guys want? Either way, the play times will be decided on by the captains. As for prizes, it will probably be 50k, 25k and 10k credits for first, second, and third respectively. May also give Supporter status to the players of the top team who don't already have it, and they will also be able to get the contest winner ribbon. I also have a few steam games in my inventory I could give away as additional prizes, they're not the best games though lol Sign ups will stay up for a week. More details to come.

Will probably be a 4 v 4 with 5 per team, so if 1 person is unable to come on they can still play with a full team. I'll probably just do whatever the majority of you guys want, but this is a good start.

There was quite a bit of support for a soccer server, so here it is! Soccer 74.91.116.99:27015 The server is running Soccer Mod 2011 With it, admins can start and stop matches as they please, change the names of the teams, and change the map. These are Options 1 and 6 on the admin menu, which can be accessed by typing !menu. The mod will keep track of the score, whoever scored, and whoever assisted. Each match that is played consists of two 15 minute halves, with a 5 second half-time. If you're an SA+ and would like to have soccer admin, message me your steam ID or find me in game and I will add you manually. You are able to kill eachother with the ball, but you will need to do 250+ damage in one hit. You respawn back on the field a few seconds after you die. Also, a pretty useful command to use is !sprint, it will give you a temporary speed boost. I'll also be hosting a small soccer tourney on the server in the coming weeks, so be sure to look out for it!
