Imagine making 6 different threads that are already mostly covered by our existing rules and blowing them out of proportion. It's cool to vent but please don't waste our time making suggestions for things that we already have rules to deal with. I know you know how to record a video so please do us a favor next time and just submit a player complaint for people breaking the rules instead of writing your PhD essay on how to go out of your own way to handle undesirable behaviour when the rules already exist for a large percentage of your issues.

Not going to argue the first point as I wouldn't feel comfortable telling my admins anything other than if you didn't see it don't put yourself in a position to come under fire later. As far as the second piece goes though: if I give you a warning shot for 55 for not following the first order and then as a result of not obeying the second order my first shot does 60 and kills you is not my problem as a CT. Technically as long as the first warning shot you received did between 1-99 and the second did between 1-99 you're not being freekilled.

I feel like a few people in here have the purpose of this team a little misconstrued. While the marketing team may assist with events from time to time (the charity stream would be a perfect example of an event that this would happen for) the bulk of the work to be done was actually not internal, but instead, external. The goal isn't to market servers against each other internally to our existing player base but instead to promote steam-gamers externally as well as make sure our outward facing brand image is consistent across the board. To the people in this thread mocking the results as far as deals and sponsorship or any of it at all I would ask you this: What do you know about the marketing team and what was happening at the time? During a brief return to normalcy in circumstance we actually got a bit done. New forums? Guess who? Referral program that no one uses? Guess who? As well as numerous other opportunities that fell through either based on our numbers as a community or the circumstances I mentioned earlier. So meme it up boys, laugh all you want. At the end of the day when this team eventually comes back (it's going to... It's basic business sense) and shit pops off I don't want to hear a fucking peep from those of you who have this idea in your head that this team is worthless.

Hello friends, As a former manager of said Steam-Gamers "Marketing Team" I would like to let you know that there were extraneous circumstances that limited productivity within this particular wing of our staff team at that time. With that being said I believe the roadblocks of yesterday have been removed and that this team could actually bring great benefit to not only the community, but more importantly, @Caution's wallet. Despite the results plenty of leads came our way during the short life of the Marketing Team. We were even in contact with the gaming division of a NBA team for a short period. Extending round times seems counter intuitive for the way this server is played. This is something that I looked at as the jailbreak AO a couple of years ago and decided against doing it. I believe all ts and @Dominic also looked into this possibility and decided against it as well.
