This man is trying to give us money, but is unable to due to the current setup and he may not be the only one in this situation. Many "subscription" sites offer alternatives to purchase one month or like larger increments of time in addition to signing up to pay once a month. You want to make it as easy as possible for individuals to donate. There are reasons to be against this idea, but the semantics of the word subscriber is not a very good one.

Could set something up where an individual can purchase one single month of sub. So it wouldn't be recurring and not need a credit card attached to the account. Of course they would have to go through this process every month to remain subscriber.

I really hope so, I grew up watching Sakic, Forsberg, Hedjuk, Roy, Foote, Blake etc... The tailing end of the original dynasty. Suffering through the down years and collecting high draft picks have finally brought back a core of solid players. Good time to be an Avs fan for sure, but I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic with just one break out year to show for our revitalization, and now a chance to show they are for real.

All teams in the East will remain trash, and the West will continue to dominate. I hope the Avalanche will be able to repeat their season from last, but a lot of things went well (until the playoffs that is) for us. Can't wait for the season opener tomorrow!

Archeage is a new MMO being released Sept 16th and founders pack purchasers get a head start beginning tomorrow! I was just wondering if there will be any other SteamGamers that will be playing this, it does have a F2P system setup, allowing for you to pay for benefits if you wish. What servers do you guys plan on playing on, maybe we can all make characters on the same one .

I would love to have the surf server set up the same way it was when I played in it quite a bit, with a mix between combat and skill maps. For me personally this was and will always be the best, the timer could still even be used if it can be turned on and off for certain maps. But, I haven't actively played surf in a while so if having both sets of maps on the server would greatly hinder the playerbase it probably isn't a good idea.

Ye wooo, I'm pumped! I've been a Broncos fan for a while now but right now is the best I've ever seen em and I don't know how long it will last with Peyton approaching retirement. I know it's only the pre season but our team has looked pretty sharp in the first games so far, I really think our defence is much improved and hopefully back to level of 2012 when they were ranked top 5. Sucks that we've lost trevathan for at least the start of the year and I'm not too confident we have someone to adequately replace him, but our defence had lost 6 starters due to injuries by the end of the year last season so I think they'll be fine. Should be a good year and anything less than a superbowl win will be a disappoinment for me.
