Dealing with prisoners basically

I'm finally starting my career but in Corrections and the academy starts on August 15th. Very fast..... but I had a feeling it was going to be that early anyway. But anyway, I'm wondering if 5.11 Tactical and Galls are the only places for equipment for LEO's etc or if there are anymore and also great prices for the rest of the items I need. The one I want to focus on the most are the boots that will last a while. I'd have to find boots that are polishable leather, no reinforced steel/fiberglass toes And if anyone had good reviews from certain brands, will be helpful too
