Hello everyone, We have some exciting new promotions just in time for July! To the Events Team, we have Charliere and Strayyz! Their additional responsibilities will include: We also have three new additions to Community Advisor! Please welcome eden, fantastic, and Polarzz to their new role! Their new responsibilities will be: If anyone is looking to be more involved with the community, we are always accepting applications for the Technical Team, Events Team, Modding Team, and Media Team so I encourage you to apply! Yup, the technical team has their own place to test their projects. Not sure what SirPlease NY#1 is, @Nishok or @Liam Brown might have a better idea. It's not a server that we run though. And yeah, all of the error connecting servers are servers that are down or have been removed but still get pinged by sourcebans.

Beyond what @Creten said, just because you have 3 bans does not mean you are automatically going to be permed. A lot of factors are considered before perming someone with 3+ bans such as the time between bans, ban lengths, and ban reasons.

@Prez used to make a thread with the donors in it as well. I'm not sure if it was automated or if he did it manually. I can look into this and see if I can bring it back though.

You're correct that not all of the tech team is actively working on it, but the ones who maintain the TTT plugin are the ones who are.

We're gonna be looking into a better way of keeping the list up to date. At the moment, we have to remove everyone and readd them for every promotion and step down. It's just too time consuming and tedious to do every time.

Hey gamers, To get this party started, we're happy to announce some new (and not so new) additions to the Events Team! We believe each of these individuals will bring a lot of good events for all of you and are excited to see Creten, Dreamz, and Montag in their new roles! Their new duties will include: Organize, plan, and run events Manage/Promote special events on our servers Manage and monitor gaming tournaments (ie. SGSL) Make sure servers are ready for all special events Schedule events to fill servers in need via the steam community Work with Game Divisions to create events that cater to community interests Next up, we have two familiar faces joining with our Modding Team! These two can be commonly seen posting about their latest mapping projects, so keep an eye out of the latest maps from Kirby and Metal! Their new duties will be to: Work with the Administrative Team to find and fix errors and exploits found in maps, models, textures, etc. Creating and developing projects for the servers including maps, models, textures, etc. Arming requested maps for use on the servers. Porting popular maps and models from other games to CS:GO for use on the servers. Work with the Media Team to develop graphics for completed projects. Work with the Administrative Team and Events Team for the production of event based projects. We're not done yet though! To the Media Team, we have nesquik! He's shown to have a passion for video editing and is interested in helping with any video related needs. His new duties will include: Manage forum and community website themes and layouts Manage all forum and community images (awards, rankbars, etc) Manage forum design sections (signature/avatar requests, etc) Work with Marketing team to manage branding and community logos/external advertising Work with Game Divisions to keep in-game branding and design (map textures for SG) up to date and relevant Work with Marketing team to manage social media accounts (Youtube, Twitch, etc) Lastly, we're excited to see this admin move up the ranks. He's shown a great amount of growth since first joining the community and continues to prove why he deserves to be a Community Advisor. Be sure to let ThRza know how yellow looks on him! His new duties are: Work with the higher staff on implementing important decisions and projects Handling player complaints and issuing bans Moderation of the forum Give awards to members on request Send group invitations to members on request Post in-game server problems on the forum Help in any way to make the servers fun Handle reported posts on the forum Work with the AT(s) officially running the servers on suggestions, requests and server-related opportunities Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the server they represent Coordinate with ATs to run server-based meetings Along with ATs, they can work with the events team on server events they would like to see Help with managing a public to-do list for their server Bring community suggestions to the AT(s) responsible for discussion Communicating server/community's wishes to ATs Join me in congratulating everyone to their new roles!

Hello everyone, We're happy to announce the Modding Team as our newest team! The purpose of the Modding Team is to help create content for our servers. These include maps, models, and any other kinds of mods. Their responsibilities will include: Work with the Administrative Team to find and fix errors and exploits found in maps, models, textures, etc. Creating and developing projects for the servers including maps, models, textures, etc. Arming requested maps for use on the servers. Porting popular maps and models from other games to CS:GO for use on the servers. Work with the Media Team to develop graphics for completed projects. Work with the Administrative Team and Events Team for the production of event based projects. We encourage anyone who have any level of experience or interest with the team to apply HERE With that said, we have a few initial promotions to the team. Each of these individuals are already active in the modding sections of the forums and always involved in some sort of project. Congratulations to Darnias, eXtr3m3, and roux! Also congratulations to Dominic who will be managing the team! Join me in congratulating @Darnias @eXtr3m3 @roux and @Dominic in their new roles!

I think it'd be a nice addition. However, maybe it should only show if they get DNA on a traitor, that way the logs aren't being cluttered every time they view a body.

Same reason as TTT. Dead players could relay information that changes the game.
