My only suggestion is to stay away from Logitech. I've had 3 Logitech headsets and they all failed in two months or less.

I think it's best to save a little more and buy something that will last for a long time than to buy something cheaper that will break sooner.

There are several differences between DDR2 and DDR3. DDR2 is older than DDR3. DDR stands for double data rate. If you have a motherboard that supports DDR2, you cannot plug in DDR3. They are not backwards/forwards compatible. DDR3 is faster than DDR2 and it uses less energy, but the downside is that they are a bit pricey. So, if you have the money, I suggest DDR3, but if you're on a budget (like I am) there is nothing wrong with DDR2. It will get the job done just as well.
