Its actually not quite stupid, would you rather have to lug around your huge gaming tower and set up all the cables at his house or just get a laptop with a big screen and great gaming capabilities and easy to take around. Im positive that this is what i want rather then a desktop. Plus ill be able to use it in bed, coach rather then on my crappy desk.

True enough but id rather buy 1 good laptop rather then both a lappy and desktop. Ill be gaming with the power cable in so power isnt a issue either. Ill rarely use it withouth the power cord

Id prefer a gaming laptop because alot of my friends game together like css and stuff and id prefer to just have a laptop to take that will provide good gaming on the go rather then lugging my desktop around every week. And if i bought a good laptop im hoping it would last me through highschool and university. I already have a decent desktop which the entire family is using aswell
