So if anyone here is a Penguins or Bruins fans, no doubt you remember Pittsburgh's Matt Cooke and his cheap shot on Boston's Mark Savard which gave him a concussion. Well, shocking to most hockey fans, Cooke didn't get suspend for it.
Now emails are surfacing where Colin Campell (who is in charge of suspensions) calls a not named player a "faker" and a "whiner". And it doesn't end here.
An NHL blogger (who leaked the emails) did some detective work with the emails. Campell described an incident that happened to his son (Gregory Campell, a former Florida Panther WHO NOW PLAYS FOR THE BRUINS) during a not specified game. Well, the only game that fit the situation was a Florida vs. Boston game in which Mark Savard was included in the penalty.
Aha! So Campell was referring to Savard as a faker and then DIDN'T suspend Matt Cooke after the cheap shot. As many people know, I am first to jump on the sports conspiracy bandwagon, so..... opinions?
