Both last week and this week the first few touchdowns have been running. Secondly, at least one of the touch downs have been against starters. A big point I'm sure you're missing is that if you watched the Patriots at all last season or the past few for that matter, 75% of the runs would be "snap to Maroney and he'll get like 3 yards or fumble it". Does seeing you're team getting 15-20 yard runs/touchdowns, not make you expect bigger things out of running the ball this season. Obviously not everything will "transition into presesaon" but if say you're WR is making good catches and the YAC is decent, he's not suddenly going to be dropping passes 24/7 in Week 1 and going to start fumbling and getting negative yards. Also you keep saying "the first presesaon game". I hope you know that the first was Patriots vs. Saints and last night was Patriots vs. Falcons.
