We already know that gaming laptops are a gimmick.

They are upset because you "need" the hydra to play it but someone in the community will make it a custom map no doubt.

I figure someone will make a wiimote hack that will spoof into thinking its the hydra. Or someone makes a official hack and every banters at valve to allow people with wiimotes to play it. Some sort of hack will pop up to let us play it, or you can probably download a custom map that is basically the dlc. This will all be solved by the community, no doubt.

This defeats the purpose. Credits are made for donations and to keep servers full. If it was this easy to get credits than it would basically be like tf2 in our servers.
