Well this is my entry: Essay Style! It a was faithful morning in the year 1999, the ever posing threat of Y2K looming upon every feeble mined adult in the country. Alas I was still somewhat young, and it was the most looked forward to day of the year for any child in America. Christmas morning. As I awoke at around 5 a.m. I realized that I was way to excited about Christmas to go back to sleep. Posing a large challenge I had to than wait another 2 hours till I could wake my parents and proceed to open gifts. I began to think of all the surprises that would be held downstairs, when the fateful time of 7 am would come. As the hours passed, I glanced at the clock to see that it was now 7 am. Running gracefully to my parents room, I opened the door slowly to see them sound asleep. Than ran in jumped on their bed and proceed to yell its Christmas! Its Christmas! Running downstairs to see the holy grail of a tree, I glance at my parents my dad gives me and my siblings the nod to approve our havoc of tearing apart our gifts to find the presents beneath them. After opening several gifts, there was a large rectangular box that was put behind the tree. Confused I slid it out to a more convent location, and proceeded to unwrap the gift. Than under that wrapping paper was the greatest gift any boy at the time could imagine. A PS1!!!!!!! It was like Nintendo 64 kid all over again, I was astonished, frazzled; I simply could not believe my parents purchased a PS1 for me and my brother. That PS1 got me to where I am today in the gaming world and without it, there might not of been a PowerNos. Long story short: I got a PS1 and freaked out, it was awesome.
