no. it was off all weekend. i came back, and shit started to act up

well recently i got back from vacation and apparently there were some thunderstorms or something and we had lost power... anyways, as soon as i got back, my computer began sporadically freezing. num lock, scroll lock, keyboard and mouse dont respond. the screen literally freezes where it was and the computer doesn't respond. i unplugged the computer and restarted to make sure it wasn't a power issue, but it froze up again shortly after. it hadn't frozen in a day or so, but i asked my dad, who seems to think it might be a ram problem. as soon as i went back downstairs it was frozen. just my fucking luck. so now i took out one stick of ram to do it the old-fashioned way and see if it freezes up any more on each stick. i know my videocard was making so funky fan sounds a while ago, so not sure if that has anything to do with it, but i figured i would add that anyways. anyone have any ideas? im thinking video card or ram, but i really dont want to be waiting around for days for either of my sticks to freeze up when i can just run down and get 2 new ones today.

anyone have any idea where the button for "silent hill" mode is? i cant find it ont he map in the beginning

agreed. anyways... i know with my plasma tv, it was originally designed to run as a computer monitor anyways, so not only do hd shows look great, but so did a computer when my dad hooked it up to it. honestly, i would just stick with something simple like that. you save a buck, and the thing is massive as it is.

to be honest, i have no clue. but something went screwy with one of my video card drivers and the settings got changed, and according to my dad whose an IT specialist, that's what the problem was. he just went to bed, but ill PM you in the morning when i ask him

I've done that a few times. Usually I look for the map I want, even if its on the next page, and me and 2 other people vote for it, but there have been a few times where a fucking zombie is trying to get in my asshole, so I just spam 1 to survive that extra 15 seconds. There should be something so the round after an RTV is initiated, there is a 30 second pause on the game at spawn so people don't feel rushed to vote, and after the 30 seconds its unpaused, all votes are registered and the 5 second timer begins.

The reason it might not come under processes is because the graphics card is able to run literally 2 sessions of Windows at the same time, so you can get 2 PC's out of one. But if it's working now, no worries lol

Gonna say the same thing I told Finzz: CD/DVD RW ftw. Totally worth it. Also, if you're looking at getting a flat-screen, go for a wide-screen one. You're probably going to be paying a decent amount anyways if you want to buy a decent sized one, and most of the flat-screens around that are big are LCD wide-screens anyways. It shouldn't hard to a good one either. I was looking at some around a year ago, and reviews are relatively abundant. Check out Best Buy, that's where I almost bought mine, they have a good selection.
