  1. I hope vent will still be up.
  2. Almost ALL servers around the world do not work right now (if you installed the new CS:S update). There are only a select few servers that are currently running this new update and those servers are packed. EVERY server has to install the update for it to work for the people with the update. If you guys did not update your CS:S yet, you can connect to a lot of the servers (since a lot of them are still running the old version).
  3. One thing I know is to not double post.
  4. A question

Better safe than sorry. Backup everything and just reinstall. It'll give you a fresh start, which means a faster computer.
  5. Lockerz

EFF YOU SEE KAY LOCKERZ. Get a Mac though. Way better deal than that stupid iTouch.
  6. movie maker

Don't you mean The Best People don't buy their software? Sony Vegas all the way.
  7. 32 bit, goodbye

Sorry to say, but Windows XP 64bit was a failure. Very few programs were actually made for 64bit OS at that time. And to add to that, XP 64bit had a lot of other problems like crashing, bad support, etc. Suck on that.
  8. This is true. If you use it every single day, you won't notice any difference. You need your cache and temp files to pile up and then use it. A program that will speed up your computer every time you use it is an optimizer. One type of optimizer is a hard drive optimizer, which puts the most frequently used files in the part of the hard drive that is accessed most and the least frequently used files into the part that is accessed least.
  9. Still says RocketDick for me.
  10. netbooks

That definitely is not a netbook.
  11. TF2 Shitty FPS

Look at his specs before you post. There is NO WAY he would ever need to set his DX to 8.0. He should be able to max every setting on TF2 and still run over 100 fps.
  12. HELP!

Well, I would say reformat your computer. If that doesn't work, it's time for a new card. D:
  13. HELP!

    Send it back in.
  14. Sound Cards

Asus Xonar D2X Asus Xonar STX I was just doing research on sound cards yesterday (true story) and I like the Asus Xonar lineup more than the Creative X-Fi. X-Fi has a limited sample rating of 24bit 96Khz on all except the Titanium Fatal1ty Champion card. Most, if not, all Asus Xonars support 24bit 192Khz. The D2X and STX has a sound to noise ratio of 118dB, while the Titanium Fatal1ty Champion has a SNR of 109dB. The downside for Asus Xonars is that it doesn't "natively" support EAX 5.0. EAX 5.0 is supported through a hack, so it's not a true 1:1 replica of EAX 5.0. X-Fi on the other hand support EAX 5.0 natively. Now, I have no idea what EAX, SNR and sample ratings are. But I know that the higher either are, the better. I recommend the D2X over the STX (over any X-Fi) because the STX is more towards studio rather than home theater and gaming (from what I understand and see). PS. Creative PCI Express Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series is the longest and ugliest name EVER. EDIT: Just read up some reviews on the D2X and it says that EAX 3.0 and up are proprietary to X-Fi. So only X-Fi cards will carry any EAX 3.0 or higher. I also read that EAX is a MUST for hardcore gamers that want to hear an enemy breath from a mile away. But Asus uses a hack that tells a game that it supports EAX 5.0 and is able to get those additional streams. I still recommend the D2X.
  15. This. Or type cl_radaralpha 200.
  16. Says the one who started flaming first.
  17. You said it yourself: There are alot of video editing/ effect programs out there. But guess what? You were looking for Adobe software (which you also said yourself). And they only make a handful (more like a finger's worth of counting). So Googling what you typed into the thread would have pointed you straight to the answer. So, I agree that you are lazy.
  18. Legit. But site sucks. Newegg preferred.
  19. Chrome Addons

    Thanks for the heads up!
  20. Laptop issue.

Overheat would be the most likely reason. Just because you don't think it is hot doesn't mean your chip thinks it's not hot either. You should install a temperature program to see if you are really overheating.
  21. What font is this?

I used to have it on my computer. NO idea what happened to it. Thanks a lot for everyone's help!
  22. Can anyone help me figure out the name of the font in the picture that says "VOLLEYBALL"? Thanks. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3204/2925896317_b00597c756_b.jpg
  23. You change the voltage in BIOS, but before you can get into the BIOS, the wrong voltage is already being sent to the RAM, which will fry it (or whatever). So you will never have a chance to even change the voltage.
